K-Food Market

Recently moved from Japan to Madison with my Korean-Japanese partner and this place has been a lifesaver. Of course, prices are higher than in Japan, but not egregiously so. The lady, who I assume is an owner, also speaks Japanese and is very nice. We even learned a couple cooking secrets!

I’m not Korean but I wanted to try making some Korean dishes and the owner was super helpful in showing me were things are. They have everything if you’re looking for Korean food. Will definitely be visiting again!

This grocer is much larger inside than it appears from the outside. They have a big selection of non-perishable and frozen items. Tons of sauces, condiments, noodles, frozen meal items, frozen seafood. They also have a good variety of refrigerated condiments, drinks & food. Minimal fresh produce. The couple working (owners?) were pleasant and assisted in locating some items. Cards accepted for purchases over $10.

LOVE this store. They've been around for a long time. I always find some kind of treasure or new food to try when I go here.They have cup tteokbokki! Don't forget to get a few sheet masks at the checkout. 🙂

Very kind and friendly owners. Prices are reasonable. Good selections for its size!

Has everything I need with fresh veggies. If you want legit korean brands for frozen food, rice, seasonings this is the place to go.

They did not have the two ingredients I needed (very very specialty) but the shopkeeper was so kind to me and helped me find a video with English translation on good substitutions. I will definitely be back!
