Great place for japanese groceries and other items! Best thing is that it is open late! Satisfy your late night munchies. The rice balls should be discounted later in the evening also as the past couple of times I have bought them here, the rice was getting hard!

Been coming here for 15+ years and it never disappoints. From Japanese condiment and snacks to the best sushi grade fish they will have something you want. I go at least once a month to get the only rice I eat and will usually pick up a bunch of different sushi grade fish to make sushi bowls out of 🤌🏼

I love Nijiya Market! They have such fresh, delicious food, especially the sushi, onigiri (rice triangles), and all the fun Japanese snacks. Their drinks and chips are so good, and the Japanese gummies are the best! Their beauty section is also full of cool and unique products I don’t find anywhere else. The cashiers are always super friendly, and the store is clean and has welcoming vibe. Japantown is a great neighborhood so many cute and fun shops to explore. Nijiya is definitely a must visit when you’re in the area!

Excellent Japanese super market. Every day, this marketplace provides lots of ready-to-eat Japanese style meals including sushi, sashimi, poke bowl, variety of bento boxes, grilled/fried meat/fish, ... great taste and reasonable price. It also carries great shabu beef, fresh fish and vegetables for preparing Japanese food. It is one of the most visited market in our daily life.

I love nijiya market a lot!! There are a few Asia markets where I live but I always make sure to go to nijiya at least once a month. Their vegetables are so fresh. Love their ground chicken and sliced pork because I can’t get it not so many places. What I love most is nijiya brand products. A lots of them has no preservatives and all the bad stuff. Parking looks bit tiny but there are plenty under ground spots. Also there are so many stores in the same mall so that’s plus.

Nice clean cute little Japanese grocery store. This place only has essentials, along with decent prepackaged sushi, sashimi, sandwiches, and rice rolls. The isles are very tight but very tidy. The workers are helpful, eager to help. The prices are very reasonable for a little market. The produce section was fresh, clean, and affordable. Nice shopping experience.

Our favorite Asian market with a Japanese focus. Great beef, seafood, sushi, often good fruit and vegetables, and amazing snacks selection.
