A Thyme For Everything

This is my favorite store in downtown Lee’s Summit. There are so many unique and delicious treasures that you can’t find anywhere else. I love the pasta and drink mixes. The glassware is gorgeous. If you’re looking for a sweet treat, they have Christopher Elbow chocolates as well as other brands. Jen is amazing and love chatting when we are in the store.

A Thyme For Everything is such a unique store! I love browsing because I always find something different that I haven’t seen anywhere else. Their pasta selection is one of my favorites — clean ingredients and great quality. I also stop in for their Christopher Elbow chocolates, which are always delicious. It’s a fun place to shop, and I always enjoy the experience.

I love this quaint store. The mother daughter owners are very nice and helpful. They have unique gifts made by local, kc residents. I would be interested in the cooking classes for teens if they’re available.

Huge fan and supporter before the new owner and daughter took over. Extremely rude. They size you up as soon as you walk in. The infamous up down look. Put out if you dare ask questions. Basically showing you the door as soon as you walk in if you don’t fit "their image". Uncomfortable doesn’t begin to describe my experience at this business. When friends come to town, I rave about downtown LS but never take them to this shop!! The WORST! I support local but definitely not a fan. Prydes in Westport is worth the drive. Treated divinely as soon as you walk in.

I have never felt less welcome in a place of business. We were sized up immediately and ignored the duration of our visit except when my daughter dropped something (it didn’t break but I paid for it anyway because I was feeling so upset/confused by our treatment here) and one of the employees said "Are you kidding me?!". The store felt icy the entire time and left me with a pit in my stomach for the rest of my day.

I really like this place. Everything we bought there and have made has been delicious and easy! We made a gumbo with the Cajun Gumbo mix and a meatloaf using the Mom's jar meatloaf starter. We used turkey breast for the meatloaf and the sauce gave it so much flavor! Can't wait to try the other items we bought! Very nice shop with a unique selection of items for cooking and friendly staff.

Nice little shop could use more variety, but on the plus side I left with some Christopher Elbow chocolates!😍
