99 Ranch Market

This is a massive store, very organized but not so clean, especially around veggies and fruits section. The aisles are smaller around that section too. I found a whole lot of variety of green vegetables there. Got three different kind. Prices were good, most of them were by weight. The store had many other sections like seafood, meat, bakery, grocery items, noodles, snacks, drinks and Asian specialty food items. They also had the dim sum and hot food section. A lot of the items were already packed in foil boxes, just for $3 each. I got few of them. The shau mai, red bean cake and dumplings were excellent. We ate them for breakfast next morning. The checkout process was quick and easy.

This is the perfect place to easily find truly authentic Taiwanese or Chinese products, from all kinds of seasonings, snacks, and drinks. The cheap vegetables are also a great find! I highly recommend this spot for anyone in the Jersey City area. They even have a prepared food section that's both economical and delicious.

Selection is very very limited for someone with celiac disease. Even most of the rice snacks have gluten. But they have some cute products that will probably bring me back.

We were regular customers of this place and often stopped here with our family. This time I purchased several items. After what I saw — never again. In a sweet donut, I found a maggot (larva). I am attaching photos of the food, the maggot found inside, and the receipt. This is not an exotic ingredient or a delicacy, but a serious violation of basic sanitary and food safety standards. I discovered this only after we had already left; otherwise, I would have addressed it on the spot. Finding a maggot in food is absolutely unacceptable. I am writing this review to warn other customers, especially families with children. After this incident, I seriously question the hygiene of this kitchen.

99 Ranch Market is a large supermarket that offers a variety of Asian and American groceries. I usually come here for the fresh produce.... there is always a great selection of fresh fruits, veggies, and herbs. There is also a fish market, meat market, and bakery. They also have food court with dine in options and also a Coco tea! There is plenty of parking, and the market is ADA compliant.

Best produce with fair prices, better than any other grocery store in town. I’ll keep driving the 35 mins to come out here to get my produce. Keep up the great work, I highly recommend 99 Ranch Market. 💯 🔥 ✊🏽
