Asian Food Market Jersey City

I stumbled upon this place once and had a great experience. There’s always a good selection of Asian groceries, with something on sale every time. The hot food options are fresh, varied, and generously portioned—perfect for a quick meal. You’ll find plenty of fresh, homemade Asian specialties like kimchi and roasted duck. The fish market at the back is a highlight, offering fresh lobster, catfish, and more. On the other side, they have a great selection of rice, Asian noodles, and fresh vegetables. I’m especially a fan of their mushroom selection—some varieties I’ve never seen elsewhere! It’s a little pricey, but definitely worth the visit. And whatever you do, don’t leave without grabbing some Japanese mochi!

Pros: In a decent area off 440 in Jersey City by a few stores like Old Navy, Applebee's and Starbucks. A place to go to shop for Asian items and produce. Cons: Doesn't carry everything you may want Asian. Closes early. The sign says 7:30 PM, but I arrived about 7:20 PM to grab something quick. I already knew what I was going to purchase and where it was located but two men behind the locked doors said they were closed. They said they close 10 minutes before closing every day.

I love this store a variety of fresh fruit and kimchi delicious. Seaweed snacks with kimchi flavor delicious and cheaper thsn Shopright.

This is my favorite store for weekly shopping. I love their prepared food section. I love their roast duck. Every week we also buy many of their regular dishes, the food taste is amazing. They have excellent collection of fruits, vegetables, drinks, and other grocery needs. The associates are really nice and helpful. Usually checkout lanes are small and move swiftly. They also give out free demos and food items through out the year.

Fresh produce is always available, but the staff at this location is not helpful. You ask them for help, and they have no clue where anything is or have a language barrier. That is most of the Spanish employees on the floor restocking the shelves. The older Asian male employees are rude and racist to customers of my complexion. Other than that, the produce is excellent.

This is a great place for fresh produce and those hard to find Asian sauces. Just look at the endless variety of soy sauce from many different countries. Don't forget the BBQ pork and the ready to eat Chinese duck. Words don't do the place justice. Have a visit.
