Food Dynasty

For a neighborhood as diverse as Jackson Heights, I honestly expected better. Unfortunately, the management and cashiers here display blatant favoritism and, frankly, racist behavior. Despite the store barely having customers, the one regular who has been coming for years is constantly harassed, followed, and even stood over while paying for their items. It’s uncomfortable and completely unnecessary. Most of the clientele seems to be older folks, and I can’t imagine this treatment would go unnoticed in a truly welcoming environment. Definitely not the kind of neighborhood friendly spot you’d hope for.

This place is scammers if you buy 6 24pk water for 1 person and if we ask for 6 more packs for another person but they refuse to give. Offer doesn’t work like this.

I like the fact that they have halal chicken and beef (it's very cheap) and they cut it to the exact pieces that I need (as well as the fish). But the staff for that is extremely, extremely slow. They have some international foods like feta cheeses and "Ayran" which can't be found everywhere.

First time I enter this supermarket. Good prices and the line moves fast. A lot of variety.

It's a Key Food, what more can I say. Not a bad grocery store, but far from the quality some of the Asian supermarkets in the area. I shop Food Dystany primarily for some of their advertised specials. This store has an abundance of the newer Bidenomics shopping carts(smaller shopping carts). They also offer a 10% senior discount. The only issue that I have is the way shopping are stored in the entrance, in such a way that you need to exit the store in order to return your cart.

check your egg prices - we paid nearly $18 for 18 eggs, got home, the sticker price on them was $13. you can get a dozen eggs at target for under $5 still. food dynasty has always been a rip off since covid days.

Cashiers are fine but the managers are some of the worst people I've ever dealt with in any store. The managers are very aware of roaches, rats and expired food in the store and will laugh in your face and walk away when you ask questions. They switched to Bangla language to say terrible things about me and thought I didn't know because I was white. I know Bangla too and they said some very awful things that would get most people fired Disgusting place. Roach infested expired food with managers that obviously got hired because they knew someone instead of work etihic
