Asian Market

I have been shopping here for years. The nice shopkeeper always greets you warmly and remembers you, even when you haven't been there in several months. Wonderful selection of Korean food and products. She is always helpful with tips to improve cheaper ramen and make it healthier and more delicious. My pictures are 4 items that I regularly purchase. I suggest giving them a try. Advice for the shin ramyun: Add green onion and vegetable packet to water, bring to boil, add noodles and spice pouch, crack an egg in while still boiling and lightly stir. Serve before noodles go soggy.

It’s my first time going to this supermarket and I love it. They have a good collection of grocery items. I was looking for the Siracha but wasn’t able to find it anywhere in the store. I asked the staff and they were very nice helping me out to look for it but we ended up not finding it. Overall, they have a lot of good food here. I will definitely come back for more grocery shopping from now on.

Wow! Awesome selection of ramen/rice/asian foods. Was really surprised this place is that good. Wasn't expecting much here - since it's Iowa, but they have over 10 types of quality ramen, and plenty of rice too. Will be back.

I've shopped here for years and it's always been a good experience. This is the only Asian market that has the really good sushi rice that I like, and their assortment of ingredients and snacks is excellent given the limited space they have compared to some of the other Asian grocers. I strongly recommend you check it out, whether you're making something from scratch, or trying out a new snack you're bound to find something great at a good price.

The quality and variety of East Asian goods here is by far the best in the Iowa City area (in my opinion). It’s so great to have a Korean market in town (they also offer many Japanese/Chinese/etc products). I’ve been buying ingredients here for years. Also, shopkeeper is an absolute joy to talk to. ☺️

My wife and I love this place. Everytime my wife has a VA appointment we go here and spend 60 plus dollars. When in stock they have some of the best red bean buns and other baked goods at front counter. Large selection of Ramen, sauces, candy. They do sell some produce, last time they had potatoes, sweet potatoes and onions. These do seem to change each time we are there. Lots of teas and drinks, a few odds and ins like rice cookers, chop sticks etc. The people that work there have always been kind and grateful, always have smiles. Some reviews state high priced, can't comment as this is the only Asian market we go to in Iowa City but we are okay with the prices we pay for the items we want. Some prices do seem high but it's for stuff we have no interest in nor have any idea if the price is within reason. Never hurts to check them out you maybe surprised how much they have in a small store. Our only complaint would be aisle size, only one cart will fit so if others are ahead of you, you have no choice but to wait or go to next aisle (no way to pass) but this doesn't stop us from going
