Kaura International Food Market

This place had a lot of West African ingredients we were looking for. We found palm cream, zobo, dried fish, and egusi here. They also had butter beans and many dried leafy vegetables and spices used for soups and stews in West Africa. (Specifically Nigeria)

A fantastic African store that has withstood the test of time. Most of what you're looking for will almost certainly be found. The host is friendly and helpful with product selection... Makes a good recommendation.👍😍🍕👌

I support African businesses cause I respect them, I like this store from the selective choices but you have to look carefully what you pick up from This store cause I’ve found holes in packages and it seems like they don’t care when you say something about it, I bought suya spice ($8.99) thinking that it’s suppose to be like this seems like someone used it and glued the seal back up this is not the first time this has happened, if anyone reading this please just inspect all products before buying ... we are already living in trying times spending hard earn money on rubbish like this

Kaura international deserves 5 stars. One of the most comprehensively stocked African/Nigerian food stores that I've visited in America so far. Well laid out, lots of variety. If you're in Indianapolis I highly recommend going there for your African food items.

I love supporting my people. We're from the same country so they always have what I need to prepare.

This store has been my go-to for years, but the service is declining. I asked for help carrying a 25 lb box to the register since it wouldn’t fit in their shopping basket. The employee gave me a nasty look and reluctantly helped. After checking out, to avoid further rudeness, I struggled to balance the box on my full basket instead of asking for help to my car. As I was leaving, the same employee rudely asked if I’d return the basket. This lack of customer care is disappointing, some of us drive several miles out of our way to come shop at your store. Please do better!
