AMAZING other people saying it's bad they are just trying to get it shut down it has great corn tamales and great choco bananos great store

Never go here if your "American" the lady at the counter had the audacity to tell me I couldn’t tamales bc I’m an "American". Can’t believe I bought my AMERICAN soda. I will never spend another AMERICAN dollar at this excuse of a grocery store… I swore when she was talking I could smell tequila on her breath 🤢

I visited this place with my brother during the pandemic. We were told they wouldn't serve is until we put a mask on. So we go get our masks and proceed to order. While waiting for our food a gentleman walked in and they gladly served him without a mask. I was so disappointed and it ruined any appeal the food would have had. The only difference I could see was that the gentleman without a mask could speak Spanish.... Lol update the restaurant has been shut down. I called asking about placing an order. The woman said we've been closed over a year and once again was very rude and hung up on me. Horrible horrible horrible business I wouldn't suggest them for anything other than a public toilet. Horrible horrible business...

The best baleadas I have had in a long time!! Only giving it a 4 because the sopa marinera con coco was not good at all since they add some other cream stuff to it el pollo dorado was very crispy but really dry inside other than that the salsa is to die for. The staff is so humble and kind. I definitely would recommend eating here if you like different types of Hispanic food!

Amazing little market! They have a wonderful range of products. Both American and Hispanic foods, Spices, fresh produce an covenant store items. Extremely nice staff. Plus a great Hispanic restaurant conveniently attached threw a small hallway. That serves some of the best Authentic Mexican food if not the best in Independence that I have had! I'm go there 3 to 5 times a week for one thing or another. Most all there prices just can't be beat either.

Hi, I only ever order the tacos at the café which are excellent in my opinion, better than any Mexican restaurant in this area. And the chips and sauce are great as well! The market is a very cool little store, all kinds of stuff nobody else has! And also I am still a smoker at the time, trying to quit but when I do want cigarette's, they still have some of the lowest prices in the area. So overall market and restraunt very good. Oh and I also recently tried the tamales, very good! I ordered the pork ones!!

. Went to pick up food when they had a restaurant and was told to leave and get mask on. Came back with mask because of covid mandates. While waiting another customer came in to store and was provided service and didn't have a mask on. This business is very unprofessional. I would never visit this place again.
