Hy-Vee Grocery Store

This is my go to grocery store. They sell organic and gluten free. As well has have a health market section. They have a Pizzaria, Chinese food section, and hot foods/cold foods kitchen. Restaurant setting with drink machines. They have a cold/cheese deli, bakery, and meat department. They have a bank branch. They have a pharmacy with United On the Go Urgent Care. This location also has a decent Win and Spirits section.

God bless Hy-Vee and all the kind people working there. The government has shut down poor people don’t have their assistance and what is Hy-Vee do? Hy-Vee offers low-cost meals for people that need it and free to kids. This is some real Christian kindness in the real sense of the word. Every one of the Hy-Vee employees working there was smiling and kind to people and made them feel welcome. What’s more the people in the line were buying meals for themselves and paying for other people in the line to get meals too just to pass along the kindness and pay it forward. This kind of real love of neighbor and kindness to fellow human beings is so needed in the world right now. It touched my heart being a lion, seeing everyone pulling together, feeling the real brotherhood of humanity instead of focusing on divisions and greed and anger. I know Hy-Vee’s just a grocery store that sells pretty good stuffand they’re a little pricey sometimes, but the fact that they’re culture in people did something as generous as this and brought people together deserves high combination. I’ll say it again, God bless you all at Hy-Vee!

my review is strictly for the area where you can buy meals ready to order inside the store. I Decided to have dinner two nights in a row here I went last night Feb 11 and tonight Feb 12 both of experience is here are very poor. I will say on 9 February 11. The food was good but I found a hair in my $10 potato salad so I had to throw it in the trash so wasn't too happy about that but decided to give the store another opportunity on the night of February 12 I order at 6:35 PM. There was a girl with black hair And glasses That was Difficult to deal with. After waiting for my food She proceeded to help two people in front of me before checking me out at the counter there at that area Which she didn't even end up helping me I had to walk to the front and standing another line just to check my food out was not very happy. The employees Behind this counter are extremely lazy And discouraging

The store was very organized, my favorite was that Nathan the manager was a big help tonight, I was doordashing when we got a big order at the same time the store was almost at closing time when Nathan help us shop some of my orders to be out on time. Thank you Nathan we need more people like you. I give you five star for your service.

⸻ 🌸 Five-Star Experience! 🌸 I had such a wonderful experience with the florist department at Hy-Vee! Amanda went above and beyond to make sure my flowers were exactly what I wanted. She was so kind, accommodating, and truly cared about creating something beautiful. I really appreciate her excellent service and attention to detail. Thank you, Amanda, for making my day brighter with your beautiful work! 💐Towana Davis-#Eaglemobilenotary

Usually, I’d be happy to leave a 5-star review, but I recently had a disappointing experience in the floral department. A few days ago, I asked to have some flowers wrapped for my granddaughter’s birthday and was assisted by a young woman named Melissa or Marissa. I’m not certain of her exact name. Unfortunately, she came across as rather dismissive and seemed irritated by my request. It was quite busy but did not look like she was busy herself assisting anyone which is why I asked her. She ended up asking a coworker to help instead, and that person did a wonderful job and the arrangement turned out beautifully. While I truly appreciate the excellent service I’ve received from other staff members in the floral department, this particular interaction left me feeling a bit uncomfortable and embarrassed. Other than that, the rest of the team continues to be fantastic and very helpful!!!

I can’t say enough about my last-minute order for Thanksgiving dinner two days after Thanksgiving day. Mike at the market Grill was kind patient and listened to my request for a full turkey dinner for 12. I called at 8 o’clock in the morning and the dinner was ready before 1 o’clock. The food is delicious thank you Hy-Vee for making my son‘s family's wish come true for a turkey dinner.
