After a while I went to world food mart. Heard the management has changed. The store wasn't well organized like before and many shelves were empty. Got there in store restaurant food items, sorry didn't got the pics of malia seekh Kabab and rice pretty decent quantity plus taste was also good 😋. Chicken samosas and tandoori chicken charge. Paid $ 10 for whole chicken charga, $ 7 sheekh kabab/ rice and $ 1.99 chicken samosas. All food items were tasty 😋. Will recommend 👌 to try for sure.

I haven't been in Houston for long, but I absolutely love this shop! 😍 They have a wide variety of Desi groceries, including halal meat, fresh veggies, fruits, spices, frozen foods, and all sorts of tasty biscuits. 😋 Sometimes the store offers sales too. I have to shop here every weekend. I'm so grateful to have found this place. 😊😊

One of my mother‘s favorite stores. I accompany her here frequently. Some of the best prices that are most competitive in Houston, Texas. They do a large amount of turnover per week and are able to pass on the discounts to the customers. Excellent place for Halal meat, fresh vegetables, spices, and all other accoutrements. I really like to come over here because you can experiment with radius, food steps. They have a little deli also and a hot foods place for getting samosas.

good selection of international groceries, and the store is clean and organized inside. However, the curb appeal really needs improvement—it doesn’t reflect the quality inside. Also, the prices are on the higher side, which might keep some people away. With a few updates, this place could attract a lot more customers.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Shocking level of uncleanliness – worst I’ve seen in the U.S. or even India I usually don’t leave reviews, but this one is necessary. The World Food Market is by far the most poorly maintained and dirtiest grocery store I’ve ever visited — not just in the U.S., but even compared to underfunded markets elsewhere. The filth starts right at the parking lot: trash is scattered everywhere, especially near the cart area. The shopping carts themselves are old, mismatched, and clearly discarded Costco carts — when you push straight, it veers to the side. Inside, things only get worse. The rice section had visible mold and fungus also found tobacco spitting marks behind the racks, and there was dust and dirt on the floor near food items. The produce section was a complete mess — trash on the ground, blocked aisles, and a foul smell near the onions. Most of the vegetables looked old, low quality, and unfit for purchase. While customers also contribute to the mess, store management is clearly failing in basic hygiene and maintenance. This isn’t just an inconvenience — it’s a serious health concern. I’m surprised local health officials or food safety inspectors haven’t stepped in yet. Do they think certain communities deserve this kind of environment? Everyone deserves clean and safe food, no matter the neighborhood.

This place is just amazing. Its huge and the selection is endless. There was no way we could not have visited this store while we were in Houston, TX. They said this is the largest store in the USA and Canada with up to 60000 square ft of space. We got some snacks to eat and tried their hot deli items and let me tell you they were delicious. I highly recommend it to everyone that is visiting this area. You must put it on your list. Amazing 👏
