Whole Foods Market

Whole foods always used to have some fancy rare fruits (and vegetables) not found in any other grocery stores. I always come here to get these rare fruits. Staff is pleasant and friendly. However, the price is also on the higher side, compared to Winco, Walmart or other stores, so, have to be mindful of what you buy

From the bakery case, I bought 60 pastries (cheesecakes and lemon tarts) for my party. Normally at $2/pastry, they are $10 for 6 (buy 5 get 1 free) or $18 for a dozen (buy 9, get 3 free). They are such delightful treats at a reasonable price. BTW, I had to drop off a return to Amazon, and to my surprise there were 10 ppl in line, but I got through in 7 min. Those Amazon workers are efficient!

I was very disappointed in my visit to your store in Hillsboro this week. I needed some produce. I needed garlic and the basket was empty. I asked the produce person if there was more garlic in the back. He said yes, but that he would get it when he had time. This was a very bad answer. I said, OK, I'll wait here until you have the time. I also wanted some Shitake mushrooms. That basket was also empty. Then I went to the meat department. The selection of chicken thighs was very limited. I was told, yes we are short but more will be in the next day. I don't think my tonight's dinner guests want to wait the next day. All this was around 2pm. That will be a long time to not have chicken. I go to Whole Foods when I want to prepare a special meal. I'm not sure I will go there again.

Highly recommend their bakery items and Jeni's Ice Cream is the real reason they have me hooked haha

Would have posted this a while ago, or called the store but life didn’t permit when it first happened… but the initial purchase was made November 7th, 2025 Usually love to hit the sandwich bar at this location but the last time things weren’t as good as usual. Spent a total of $259.06 and $77.32 of that consisted of very poor quality items that I unfortunately was not able to take back right away due to going out of town, but they were inedible. Took my kids in to order sandwiches. Sandwich bar was out of all bread but hoagies, which was fine, but the meat (turkey on all sandwiches) was horribly dry and made the sandwich’s inedible. I’m talking "break into crumbles" & "rip the moisture from your mouth" dry. I bought 4 @ $55.96 sadly Also grabbed two bags of deli sliced honey turkey to make sandwiches later. Meat here was in the exact same condition 🤯 I grabbed sushi and some salad rolls. The salad rolls wrapping was so hard that they were inedible also. It was like trying to chew plastic Was having a hard time and needed quick food to feed the kids dinner. Wasted quite a pretty penny and kids were still hungry. 🙁

Kinda hard to navigate thru the store.. but the salad bar and deli are amazing and parking was not to bad! Oh and a super plus... they do have double baby seats in some of their shopping carts! A plus with a 2 and 3 year old !!!!
