Clean store and good selection. However, shopping here was a VERY frustrating experience. Nothing in the store is priced and when you do see prices on the shelf, they are almost always wrong. I only picked up a few items because I couldn’t find prices for most things. There were a few things I really needed (basmati rice) so I hunted the shelves for a tag that matched the rice I selected. When I went to pay, the rice scanned at $15 more than priced on the shelf. This was the same for other items I had picked up. All rang up much high (in some cases double) than what the shelf said. There are plenty of other Indian markets in the area so I will absolutely not return to this one again.
The supermarket is very large with a huge variety of products from India, I really like to enjoy the foods and flavors of other cultures and here I found what I was looking for, they have all kinds of products, from spices to desserts, fresh fruits and vegetables , snacks, sodas, yogurt, milk, all kinds of rice flours and seeds, per pound or per bag at an excellent price, they have everything!! the place is very nice and organized.
!!!!!!!!Hi all, while giving ratings don't go as they suggest in store to give 4 or 5 stars. this can risk someone's life by blindly trusting stores. Selling expired products, caused illness to my wife. When I inspected store , 80% of the snack items or either expired or changed the expiration dates. See if the expiration date is dark - its the original one, if the expiration date is slightly wiped off , think that its been over written. I got this info on how this stores are being handled. Sharing offline feedback to food authorities as well to take some action on this. Sharing some glimpse of expiration dates. i couldn't take more pictures, but i have noticed most of them are expired. ( when i questioned, the store representative tried to replace with some other snack item and they noticed the couple of snacks they picked are also expired and they finally ended up with refund option and they don't have words on how the products were handled in the store.
Very clean, well organized store.Seems to run by very professional people. Lots of variety.Prices are low as compare to other Indian supermarkets, i was surprised to see the freshness of vegetables. I definitely recommend it.
Krishna supermarket, a new store which could have been a replacement to Indian supermarket a store that sells spoiled food and refuses to return it, well its just too bad it’s too good to be true. See we came here thinking quality and freshness is as finally here. And we just love the sugarcane juice pressed fresh on site. But you wouldn’t believe the lack of sanitation here, I found a moth inside the stacks of rice bags, no big deal right? Well, it was next to an open and leaking bag of rice. Weevil moths, I’ve seen them at Indian supermarket and possibly here. But who cares right, I could be wrong. But I then noticed they had a sale for buy buy 3 get 1 murrukku and instead of buying a sale item that they never sold enough of, I unknowingly bought, three completely rancid bags of murrukku. This extended to all varieties of murrukku. So Krishna supermarket, I had high hopes for you, but unless this kind of thing is prevented well… Note: the murrukku expires dec 2024 and it’s still august.
Need to watch out for expired item as well. Otherwise well stocked and clean grocery experience. Everything was available what I need. I was traveling in from Texas so I may be comparing to very different standards. We have Walmart size Indian grocery
I purchased Gingelly Oil imported by Meenakshi Overseas LLC. When opened, it smelled foul and had visible gunk inside. The taste is unlike the original product. I’ll return it to the store and talk to the manager about selling such low-quality goods. FDA should review this immediately—such products are unsafe for consumers.
