These Korean Short Ribs were out of this world 🤯 Tang Jip is such a gem in Hayward with top tier service plus every dish is clearly made with love from tofu soup to cheese corn and premium soju 🔥 We also tried the most ancient Korean drink which @DateNight 🌃 | D 🍕🍗🍱 will highlight in his video. This will be our go to Korean spot when we're in Hayward 😍 #foodie #bayarea #datenight #koreanfood #delicious
Short answer: highly recommend and would come back. So happy this Korean restaurant opened up. The food was so delicious and filling. Appetizer was so delicious. It doesn’t taste commercialized made. It tastes legit especially the kimchi. I wondered if this home made? 😍 Staffs were nice, kind and efficient. Tea was good. I’d like to try more of the other food next time! Did a walk in on a Friday night. There was a bit of wait but I didn’t mind it. Maybe 30-40 mins? Pricing was on the higher end but don’t mind supporting this business.
Food was great! Spice level of the chicken was perfect and the beef was very tender. Server kindly brought us an extra serving of each banchan after requesting. The kimchi could marinate a little longer, but overall everything was very flavorful! We arrived around 3pm on a Monday there was plenty of open seating.
Love the soup and the seafood pancake and the cheese corn. Bulgogi is yummy. The chicken one is not as good. A bit on the salty side. Nice atmosphere. Looks like a great semi private room for big parties.
We came in before 12pm and the room was already partially filled to my surprise. The service, food and atmosphere was great. Short Ribs - tasty, charred pieces of ribs. The dish contains more bones than meat. The server mentioned that is how its served. I guess Ive never had it this way before. Dumplings and rice cake soup - shareable with 2-3 ppl. They have three jumbo dumplings stuffed with the softest mince pork I've ever had. On the bottom of the bowl we're slivers of rice cake, bits of beef and thin strands of tofu or bean curd (not sure what it was). Overall, this bowl was the ultimate comfort food. My only complaint was they lied about not having anymore broccoli ban chan. We saw plenty of bowls coming out after we requested it. Not sure why we were denied more broccoli! We just wanted a little more.
Awesome Korean food, on par or better than what you’d get down in Santa Clara. We loved everything we ate. Bbossam, two different soups, kalbi Jim (non spicy). So good. You won’t regret i
When we got to the restaurant we waited for quite some time even after we spoke to the staff. There were quite a few tables open, but I guess there was not enough staff to escort us to a open table. The staff we spoke to was working the cash register, but after we spoke to him he started delivering drinks to those who were seated already. Very confusing. Once we were seated we ordered our meal. We ordered the seafood pancake, spicy pork and beef bagoogi. The pancake came out first. It was cold and they forgot the sauce. We asked for the sauce and it took a bit for it to come out. Then when we were done with the pancake they brought out the small sides. Next came the spicy pork. The dish was lukewarm. It was served on a room temperature sizzle plate. The onion that normally would be sizzling away on a hot plate was not hot. Thus the onions were raw. Although the pork was lukewarm the flavor was okay. Next came out the beef bagoogi and it too was lukewarm and the sizzle plate was not hot at all. Warm to the touch. So yes, the onions were also raw. The beef flavor was okay. Overall it was a. okay experience. I've had worse Korean but not many.
