BazaAr Supermarket

It was one of those pre-holiday shopping visits, when you do once or twice a year. The carr was full, plenty of candy choices, fresh vegetables and some delicatessens. However, the smoked fish section didn't have what I was looking for, and 6 tiny slices of cold smoked sturgeon? for $20 is insane. But we got some fresh chantrells and it was highlight of the dinner.

Stumbled upon this interesting international grocery on cochituate road. Pretty good size vegetable section and rare smoked fish, intriguing pastries. Reasonable prices, clean, new market option in the area.

We went in for those delicious Georgian eggplant roll-ups, and ended up with chanterelles, black trumpets, and shiitake mushrooms! This Russian supermarket is fabulous. Many items you can’t find elsewhere, including fresh produce fairly priced, dairy, meats of all types, fish and frozen stuff. Cannot wait to go back. Very friendly staff.

Such an awesome Russian grocery store! It’s not every day I get to speak in Russian anymore so it was great getting to speak it and find some foods I haven’t had in a long time. They have some really good candy finds in here. Highly recommend.

I love BazaAr market! It’s clean, well organized and they have everything I’m asking for. They carry some items that hard to find around here at other supermarkets. Now I don’t have to go all the way to Boston to buy groceries. I’m so happy they’re here.

I love their produce and their prices are fair. Good seafood choices. The guys at the counter are very helpful as well.

Mostly Russian imported food, but they have fresh produce too. Interesting place!
