Harvest International Market

I live in LA and was visiting SD for the weekend. This grocery store is amazing! I wish they had one in LA. don't get me wrong, we do have similar and probably larger stores. However, this grocery store offers much more variety. I'm addition to the fresh produce, they offer lots of in house prepared ready to eat food. Prices are somehow incredibly reasonable. They have a butcher and I believe it's halal. The staff is friendly and helpful. The parking is small but has lots of spaces and there's a high turnover rate. I will definitely be returning whenever I'm in the area. On a side note, I noticed a few typos on some of the veggies labels that I found a bit funny.

Always check the weekly sales Always find something worth driving there for especially produce and fruit. Great for Middle Eastern food diet. Summer melon sales are the best around and oranges in the winter. Awesome fresh baked breads straight from their ovens.

I love this Arabic store the most, their store is always clean the staff is wonderful and you can honestly see big difference in the freshly made breads. I just bought some cheese bread and it is the best I have ever had. The beard actually has good amount of cheese. They have a wonderful owner as well if it’s still Mike. I like supporting places whom are nice to their employees. Highly recommend this store!

First time there today. Very clean . I told the owner of was happy. He gave me free samples of bread veggie balls. The meat counter is amazing. The prices for meat were $4.00 a pound less than other markets. He seem very kind to his workers too. I’ll drive from north park from now on to come here. Good job .

No doubt it’s a very good market with plenty of fresh vegetables fruits and groceries available for reasonable prices.It is a middle eastern market. Their bakery items and Arabic breads are delicious. The only downside is cleanliness inside the store. We always notice People touching and tasting fruit. Also fowl smell inside the store is difficult to bear. Sometimes the smell is so bothersome that we leave the store asap by quickly picking what we need.

Great produce and meat at great prices. There is also a self-serve station and a to-go lunch counter and an even better separate dessert counter. The produce looked better and cheaper than any regular supermarket in the area.

The workers at the hot food section are very unprofessional and unorganized. After waiting 10+ minutes at the order counter nobody took my order. One person says what do you want then leaves without communicating to anybody else, then more time is wasted before another person say what do you want, i tell them I want a beef sandwich and they could not care less. Then an Iraqi guy walks up and cuts me in line makes order and they prioritize his new order immediately. They after giving the guy who cut me the beef shawarma i wanted and order the old worker guy says they are done for the night. What a waste of my time and Terrible customer service!
