Afghan Food Market

Last time I ordered food for party but was so disappointed with the food. They gave me stale, old qabili. I was too embarrassed to serve it so I make food last minute and lost money on the leftovers they sold me. And the service is bad. Why have a restaurant that represents a whole region food and don’t put effort in making decent food? I am not even expecting great food, just at least not leftovers from garbage! I used to try and promote their business because I thought they really wanted to do business and maybe they knew how to but no. In food service, they don’t treat their customers well either. Do not have restaurant business if you don’t like people, serve food that’s unacceptable. We can make make food at home but want to support their business and thought they care to serve good food and good customer service, but they are not worthy unfortunately. Here’s a photo of their bolanee which has nothing inside and is just thick dough which is uncooked. When asked to please make sure they add stuffing inside as supposed to be, they snarked and loudly ridiculed us by saying to each other they want the bolanee full with stuffing. Really no need to ridicule your customers and be grateful we came to your business and no more!

Just came across this store in El Cajon. Ordered a Gyro Sandwich. Quality is Good. Nice people. Good service.

I placed an order and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes, the order was still not ready. Poor time management and bad customer service. Not recommended.

Good selection of Afghan rice and masalas. Meat is fresh and prices are affordable 5 star service!!!

I come here for the chicken kabob all the time. One of the better halal places to eat in El Cajon. The afghan ice cream is a must try
