Brothers Market - Afghan Market and Butcher in El Cajon

We went there for a weekend visit, they have Great Service, nice and calm environment. The Food is always tasty and Yummy, specially Kala Paacha, we ordered One Kala Paacha it was Sooo Tasty and special spices and good smell. Other day I ordered Lamb Kabob, it was also great. I will visit always here.

The price stickers are not followed accordingly. they play with the receipts and increase prices. Be careful the butcher part is not honest. We had used to come from Orange county to make wholesale purchase and finally found out the butcher part increased the prices on the receipt almost $2 each pound and after discussion on the phone he agreed to returned only $1 for each pound. 😖😖😖😖😖😖the sticker shows beef with bones price; Actual price is $4.99 per pound . He charged $6.99 . Means $2 extra each pound. Finally I lost $42 plus for the whole 42 pound I had purchased , 89 mile drives from Orange County. I wouldn’t go again. It was second time, the first time he had tricked a bunch of waste meat into our bag 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈

I'm absolutely blown away by the authentic and scrumptious food at this restaurant 🤤! We ordered the Qadili, kabab, and chapli bakab, and oh my, they were incredibly delicious 😆. What's more, they offer a complimentary spread of soup, three types of chatny, spices, and tea for free. The freshness of the meat is unparalleled - no frozen leftovers here! I must extend my gratitude to Muhadasa, our server, who was exceptionally polite, friendly, and professional. The restaurant's cleanliness and pricing are also noteworthy. Overall, I've had an amazing experience dining here with my family, and I look forward to returning. Thank you ❤️!

Absolutely delicious!! Lamb grilled to perfection, Veggies fresh n crisp, Rice outstanding in flavor and temperature, Sauces for dipping just right for diverse pallets (a little something for everyone), Saffron tea hot tasty and satisfying, And the best hot fresh bread- Oh love that Afghani bread so much... Took extra home from store next door!<3 Service was friendly and extremely helpful. Not too busy for lunch to be treated like royalty. Prices very reasonable and SO MUCH FOOD!!

First time having Afghan food and it won’t be my last ! I was surprised because it’s 3 stores in 1 building. All separated. A grocery store, a butcher shop, and restaurant. I was obviously there for the restaurant. They have traditional Afghan style ground seating and regular restaurant style table seating. They bring out complimentary chicken soup, so yummy! Then we shared the traditional Afghan rice called quebuli rice. Then we shared the pizza ( sausage & Jalapeños). Beef kabob was on point it was my favorite item. They are known for their lamb skewers so we got a couple of those. Also a tandoori chicken. Everything here is 100% halal Finished off with afghan ice cream which was amazing !! Made from scratch. Highly recommend. Service was great and restaurant was clean which was a plus.

The food was delicious and fresh. The service was friendly and fast. I enjoyed my meal here highly recommended
