IGO - Indian Grocery Outlet

I was extremely surprised and concerned after purchasing the Indian desi dahi from your store yesterday. When I opened a brand-new container, it was not white as authentic dahi typically is. Instead, it appeared beige in color, had an unusually thick, mayonnaise-like consistency, and even tasted like mayonnaise, which is completely unlike real dahi. This raises serious concerns about the quality and authenticity of the product. I attempted to contact the store by phone but received no response.

I was pleasantly surprised and honestly amused to find everything I could possibly need from back home right here at IGO! From fresh Indian vegetables to a wide range of lentils, spices, and pantry essentials, they’ve got it all. The variety of snacks brought back nostalgic memories, and the quality was excellent. It truly feels like a mini India under one roof. A must-visit for anyone looking for authentic Indian groceries in the area!

Groceries are good. I have been shopping here for a lot of time.. I also buy samosas and other snack items from here. I am posting a one star review here because I purchased onion pakoda from here and they were stale and uneatable… they were chewy like rubber and had a foul smell to it. It was impossible to break them with hand… something was seriously wrong with them.. Did not want to take a chance with my health… Went straight to garbage.

Well maintained. Parking lot is small, very busy in weekends. You have to wait at least 15-20 minutes for billing, billing counters are only 4-5. This causes delay when it’s rush. Rice is shortage so their prices are increased. And they kept limit 1 bag per person

I had a good experience shopping at Indian grocery outlet store in Edison! They had an impressive variety of desi food items, from fresh produce and fragrant spices to all kinds of lentils, rice, and ready-to-eat snacks. It was easy to find ingredients for my favorite home-cooked Indian meals, and I appreciated the range of regional products from different parts of India. The store was well-stocked and organized, and the staff was helpful when I had questions. Overall, it’s a great place to shop if you’re looking for authentic Indian groceries in the area.

Perfect store for south Edison residents. There are many many stores equal to or better than this in oak tree , but why do u need to travel to buy basic groceries. They also have paratha roti making stations and ready to go subzis/gravies. Lots of parking outside .. a. Bit expensive though… nicely located .. quick billing . Overall a good experience 👏👍👍👍

Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices available. Large selection of frozen Asian food too. Definitely going back there. Fresh snacks were available too.
