Whole Foods Market

I like having a Whole Foods in Durham, but this market has been consistently out of stock of the Homestead Creamery milk at least 50% of the time for the last 6 months. I make yogurt, and yogurt requires low temp pasteurized milk, so I can't just substitute it with the others. Lately, I've tried asking when the shipments get in but getting an attitude in response like it's easy to drive back every day just to see if it's in stock. Like if it's always out of stock, why wouldn't they just purchase more? The Chapel Hill store is also consistently out of stock so I might have to switch to the Durham Co-op since I'm pretty sure they won't like me calling every day to check if it's in stock.

This store is very very expensive. Add those prices, it keeps out the riff raffle. They have a good bakery and a good selection of ready to eat foods. They're bread is delicious. They Have an excellent produce section. The staff has always been ultra rude. I only go there to get things I can't get someplace else.

Very helpful employees. Great variety. Prices not too high considering excellent food quality. Fantastic takeout hot bar for lunch. Lots of veggies.

Don’t shop here unless you want your car towed while you shop! Yesterday my son went to this store. Before shopping he walked the path by the store. When he got back ten minutes later his car was towed!! The same thing happened to another lady only she shopped first then took a walk around only to find her car towed too! Both were fined $230! This is absolutely unacceptable! They blame it on the property owner. Blame it on anyone and it’s still the same ridiculous policy! You owe my son $230 now!!

Got my car towed even though I was going to shop here after my walk. Never park here because you run the risk of getting towed. I know it says so on the sign but it still sucks and I have no one to be mad at because that’s the system. Happy New Year to me

Very bad experience with the store premises. Cafe area and Amazon returns area is filled with people who are probably sitting all day and bad mouthing people who are visiting that area. The lady who sat near the Amazon returns counter scolded my wife without any reason when my wife is visiting the rest room. She continued the same when I am waiting along with my kid and passing racial comments when my wife coming out from washroom. Store is very congested and product availability varies by the day and time you are visiting.

The breakfast hot bar is an absolute joke now. Scrambled eggs like rubber. Sausage just as bad as the eggs. Over priced for food that isn't fit for human consumption. To bad, this place used to be a great place for breakfast but it's more like the biscuitville disaster of 2025.
