Kims Mart

Kim's Mart is an Asian grocery mini mart with a focus on Korean food. It's located in downtown Davis. They have a huge variety of groceries in a compact shop. The staff is extremely helpful. Plus the shop is well organized and super clean. The shop carrys snacks, frozen food, fresh produce, fresh made food, ramen packages, bowls/plates, kitchenware, canned food, sauces, shelf staples... so much. The snack aisle alone is a sight to see with its variety of chips (shrimp, potato, etc) and there is another aisle for candy and cookies. The selection of fresh produce is seasonal and is limited. Plus not a daily common item. Got noodles? They do! Ramen, rice, wheat, etc. The hot prepared food are galibi and rice plates, Kim Bap, California rolls, and tuna rolls. Those are served daily and set out in the morning. So once they are gone for the day, that's it until tomorrow. The prices are competitive to the big box Asian grocery stores with some items significant marked lower. No, not because of expiration dates, I checked everything I saw and didn't see any issues. Overall a gem of a market ideal for any community.

Bustling Korean grocery store in downtown Davis. Surprisingly large selection of fresh Asian grocery items, as well as canned goods and ramen packs. There is also a hot deli section for kimchi fried rice and several banchan items. Fast and friendly service. Plenty of free parking spots.

Fantastic little Asian mart. Has been around for over 20 years and still a staple of downtown Davis. There is a wide selection of ramen, asian sauces, candies, snacks, groceries, and drinks. The owners are Korean, so there are a lot of Korean items (kimbop, etc). The price is pretty fair. Parking is fantastic here, there is always space and the people are really nice. Always good to support local business! Enjoy!

Small store but has almost all of the Korean cuisine essentials; rice, banchan, frozen dumplings, mochi ice cream, instant ramen, produce, fermented pastes, condiments, soju, non-alcoholic drinks (soda, tea, etc), you name it, chances are they probably have it. They also carry a few non-consumable items too, like pots and other kitchen stuff iirc. Cashiers have always been polite and friendly, never had a bad experience. Prices are alright for being in Davis, but you can definitely find cheaper if you can make it out to Sac. Store seems pretty clean too, although I think some of their refrigerator sections could use a deep clean at some point. Overall, I do shop here frequently and it’s very convenient, so I would recommend checking it out at some point!

Kim's is the best Asian Mart in Davis. It's been a pleasure getting to see them grow and thrive as a business. The owners are lovely people

I visited this store and wanted to buy a bag of turtle chips, lime flavored, which at the time had a price tag of $1.99. When the cashier ringed up my items, it said $4.99. I proceeded to show the cashier the price tag sticker on the bag. He asked his manager, Lin, who then said he would not honor the price tag even after I grabbed two more bags from the shelf to show him they were all marked as $1.99. I didn't appreciate such poor customer service. I don't recommend this store based off of my experience.

Great spot! Found everything I was looking for with a few pleasant surprises as well. They definitely have the essentials I need before I return home to Asia.
