Daiso - Japanese Household Goods

lots of many tech-y things that you cant find in american stores. theyre all very useful tools that can help in everyday life. for example: a hairbrush cleaner. its also very easy to spend a lot of money/time here. most things are $2.25

June 2025: Oy, from $1.50 to $2.25+ (mostly $4.5 or $6) is a very large price increase. Adorable items all over the store, but not always worth parting $5+ to bring home. A few photos are cheaper. I will research my items better before purchasing. I did see some items are still Made in Japan. Store was quite clean and organized. I did purchase a couple items on this trip, items that I planned for and needed immediately. No credit card purchase minimum. - - - Original review, 2018: If you find something you really like, buy more than one! It always seems to be hit-or-miss about restocking popular items. I am always purchasing 1) laundry mesh bags (back wall), 2) scissors - either kitchen shears or desk scissors (in different locations), and 3) paring/general food prep knives. I always admire the walls and walls of cute eraser packs - but I have no need for them and do not buy any. -kitchen items (utensils, baking items) -crafts (sewing, paper, knitting, yarn, crochet, tape, origami) -beauty (makeup, skincare, tools) -cleaning (brooms, microfiber cloths) some travel bags some pets-related items some gardening/home items and snack items near checkout All items are $1.50 unless specifically and individually marked with a price sticker.

Saw a white male leave the back room. When I asked him where the sponges were located, he said he did not work there. Did an employee just lie to me? A bit concerning to have non-employees leave the backroom of the store. Definitely a security risk.

So many great and fun items that are $1.75 & up. Household essentials, snacks, craft/school supplies, cosmetics, accessories and more! Edited to add on 4/17/25 - self checkout now makes it easier to exit. Lots of cute Sanrio and BT21 merch!

When we visit California, we always make a stop at Daiso! Wish they had these stores on the East Coast. We always pick up a couple of useful household items and snacks here.

If you are looking for Japanese stuff, glass wares, chop sticks, food items, home decor, beauty stuff.. Then you are in the right place.. Every item has a price code.. Those without price tag is $1.50(min rate). Quality is worth for the price

You can find many Japanese household goods here for $1.75 each only, except for some pricier items that have their price marked in Yen, and you have to use their conversion table which is posted everywhere to find out the price in USD. Most of the stuff are pretty usable, but of course you can’t expect the highest quality for $1.75. And there is a lot of cutely designed stuff. But we feel this store does not have as many items as the one on Saratoga Ave which is only 3 miles away.
