Walmart Neighborhood Market

HORRIBLE!!!! They will accuse you of stealing based of your looks and how you are dressed! I went inside to buy diapers , wipes , milk , juice and deodorant. I was squatted down looking at the bottom shelf of deodorant and smelling the options they had since they were out of stock on my scent. Well this employee walked past me and seen me then she circled back around and stayed right behind me watching me. Not saying anything just watched. So I grabbed a random scent and walked off thinking she needed to get where I was at. I was wrong. She proceeded to follow me everywhere in the store. Then when I got to self checkout and scanned all my items and paid she stopped me before I could get outside. She accused me of stealing. I told her "how can I steal if you have been following em this entire time ?" She said I shoved something in my purse and then she grabbed it and dumbed my stuff on the self checkout counter without my consent. When she realized there was nothing there she proceeded to ask me to empty out my pockets and everything. I did it only because I wanted this to be over with so I could get back home to my babies. But nope. She then said that the single tampon I had in my vag was stolen from a box. When they checked the camaras and seen I went no where near the tampons they then apologized and sent me on my way. They didn't fire her. They didn't talk to her or nothing. They just sent her right back out to stock the shelves. Disappointed. They will follow people around just because of how they are dressed or the tone of their skin. Because the lady told me "people of your color tend to steal a lot" then proceeded to say "I'm sorry but you shouldn't dress like that and expect not to be seen as suspicious" 😡 I'm am highly upset.

WARNING: This store does NOT accept Walmart.com returns. Lori and Heather at the front desk both said that their manager instructed them to not accept Walmart.com returns. Despite the fact that I am a Walmart+ subscriber, the item was not a 3rd party item, and this Walmart was listed as accepting online returns from the Walmart website. They didn't bother to look at my receipt or anything, just a "no, take it to another store". If Walmart wants to know why people prefer Amazon, THIS IS WHY.

I live next door so i come here every week but tonight Walmart staff were not helpful at all tonight. I came in for groceries and was looking for chicken breast. I asked one of the staff near the meat section, and she told me the chicken was in the stockroom in the back. Like, what? Do you want me to go into your stockroom to get it myself? Then I went to the cashier and asked another staff member where I could find chicken breast since it wasn’t in the meat section. She just said she didn’t know and that I had to ask another employee. What the heck?! Very unprofessional employees — no standards at all.

I’ve shopped at this Walmart Neighborhood Market for a while, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I purchased a boxed wine earlier the same day, and when I opened it at home later that evening, there was a large amount of mold inside the wine packet and throughout the box. This item was sitting at the front of the wine shelf, which raises concerns about product checks and food safety. When I returned to the store, an employee named Lori was rude, dismissive, and argumentative, repeatedly insisting nothing could be done and questioning why I didn’t inspect a sealed product before buying it. Customers should be able to trust that grocery items are safe. This took place in front of my daughter and other customers, and the lack of empathy or basic kindness was upsetting. Only after I asked for the manager’s name and store information did a manager step in and allow an exchange. Mold does not grow in a few hours inside a sealed product. This was a health and safety issue, and it was handled poorly. When I got to the register and let me start off by saying there was only one register open out of like 10 ,The guy who rang me up overcharged me and made me take things off. Because the amount was over what I had predicted and counted up, Prior to getting to the register. when I asked for my receipt, the man gave me my receipt just for me to see that he overcharged me twice for the cat litter. (I only bought 1) And I said to him, I told you, I had enough for the other stuff you had overcharged me, but it's okay, we're all human, we all make mistakes. he looked at me and was really rude and said , just go to customer service then and get your money back. Then I had to wait in customer service for about 20 minutes. Because the person in front of me was trying to change the old $20 bills for new $20 bills, it was a very inconvenient hassle for the day. And this is not the first time I've had issues at this Walmart, but unfortunately I take the bus, and this is the closest one to my house..

Customer Service is awful. Victoria is one of the ladies upfront, literally took my purchased items out of my bag, then open the rest of the line where i had to get a manager to figure out what was going on, the manager then chose to ignore my complaint and laugh it off as i was walking away. The manager was heather. At the time i turned around and asked for her name and she decided to argue about speaking with the employee even though i just witness them laugh at whatever they were foing. I constantly go into this store and watch the lines be a mess by the same employees laughing, dancing, doing everything but their jobs.

Good prices but waiting to check out with self service and there are lines of people blocking isles due to rows of self service registers closed off. BRILLIANT! Bad management. Why not just tell the customers you don’t care. Next time I’ll walk out.
