Maligaya's Oriental Market

First time been there, bit pricey but they have nice selection. The guy on the checked out seems to be owner are very welcome and helpfull

I was traveling and needed some arrowroot powder so I stepped into his store that just will happen to be on my route. I did not find what I was looking for, but I settle for a substitute which was tapioca starch powder. It was only a hour and change when I went to go check out, the women behind the register, insisted that I had to spend a minimum of $10 in order to do my debit card I didn’t need anything else and so I was forced to leave the store empty-handed because I didn’t have a need to spend $10 or more. What an inconvenience everyone doesn’t carry cash or points. The owner should be considerate, insisting that I spend a minimum of $10 when I really shouldn’t have to is behind me. Keep that in mind if you ever decide to visit this establishment.

Not a huge selection but has what my wife wants.

Only place in central Illinois I can find that has a few filipino ingredients I need. I just wish they had mild banana ketchup sauce instead of only spicy.

A store you need for all your Filipino food products located in Champaign, Illinois.

Nice place to buy African foods, Asian foods, and some American foods. Great people with a wonderful customer service. I was particularly impressed by the kind of service and hygiene that I observed at this store during this pandemic (COVID-19). Please, keep up with the great job that you are doing and your endeavors to ensure that your customers are safe. We, your customers, are not blind to all your efforts and we appreciate them all. Thank you.

Pretty awesome to find a store with Filipino food items and snacks. They had lots of things I couldn't find at other places. Taking off one star from what would be a 5 star review, because the exp. date was wiped off the bags of snacks I got, and were a bit stale.
