Customer Reviews
Green Onion Asian Market has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 based on over 227 reviews on Google
Great assortment of asian goods so far away from a larger metropolitan area. Competitive prices. If hot pot/shabu shabu is on the dinner plan, green onion probably has what's needed. Nice assortment of rice! Pre sliced meats are available if you don't have a machine to slice your costco packs. Plenty of snacks and drinks for sale. Just a bit light on veggies - have to check out the sister store down the street next.
Great assortment of asian food, small but they have a lot of authentic asian foods, from dry to fresh, include some fresh food ready to eat. The dry food little bit pricey, but the fresh one the one near the checkout its pretty good price with good flavour. Definately come back for getting cook baby crab. Its worthed for driving 45 min. Employee also friendly and helpfull.
Clean, well organized, great selection, and reasonably priced. I read the prior reviews and while the noone greeted me, that didn't really bother me. Not like someone greets you at Kroger/Aldi either. When I asked the employee multiple questions where stuff was she did so happily and was very helpful. Will visit again next time I'm in town.
I went here a while ago, had an amazing experience. A customer recommend something to me since it was my first time but I went back today to get more, the power flickered and the car machine wasn't working so it ended up being cash only but the worker was like "I'm so sorry", she was so sweet both times I've gone. Definitely coming back!!
If I have an option to give zero I would do that due to such a bad experience I had today. I had a question to ask about price difference on the products and the lady sitting at the cashier retorted me saying " it is what it is". Ok I didn't expect to hear such a rude reply but I took it as it is and said I don't want to buy one of them. Then you know what? She told me to put it back to where it was. I was ready to check out with my cart lined up in front of the other customer at that time and the cashier told me to put the item all the way back to the place. I do hope the owner would notice this lady's attitude and do something for future customers. Since I am a good citizen respecting others I did put the product back and let others check out ahead of me.
I love going here once or twice a month. They have great snacks. I buy other things, but the snacks keep me coming back. Also the instant coffee sticks/pods are the best single coffee instant coffee I have ever had. Makes Folgers singles taste like wet mud. I wish the parking was better but what can you do when you are sandwiched between the train tracks and Neil Street. The place is always clean and the people are friendly and helpful.
Never been in before. The selection is wild! The store is clean and well organized and the staff was friendly. The variety of goods was nearly dizzying. One example: dried seaweed. I have seen this before in other places, big box stores mainly. Before today I did not know that it is available in a wide array of sizes and flavors. Chalk that up to my ignorance of other cultures, but it was a pleasant discovery. The store features fresh and frozen produce and meats, a kaleidoscope of dry grains in sizes from a few ounces to a fifty pound bag. There are canned goods and sauces, spices and breads, ingredients to make it from scratch or convenient frozen foods you can heat and eat. Just a really impressive little store that seems much bigger on the inside because there is just so much great stuff in there. I look forward to returning and exploring when I have more time.
