Annapoorna stores

I love this grocery so much. This was the first place I got my supplies when I began cooking Indian food, and the owner warned me about double-bagging the hing powder for storage so my whole kitchen didn’t smell like it 😂 produce always looks lovely.

An Indian store. Mostly has all the necessary items required in an Indian Kitchen but at an escalated price. Vegetables are a bit expensive but atleast you can see and buy "Indian" vegetables; something other than just lettuce. All in all its a good goto store. I guess there Haldiram's Roti is the most sold item.

I recently purchased a frozen pack of roti from this store, and I’m extremely disappointed with the quality. Even though the package was well within its expiration date, all the rotis were covered in fungus when I opened it, despite storing it immediately in the freezer after purchase. It’s frustrating to waste $10 on spoiled food, especially as a student on a budget. This is unacceptable, and I hope the store addresses this issue promptly to prevent it from happening to others. I have attached the picture of the package and the rotis inside it.

Great variety, you can find pretty much any Indian spice you are looking for here. Owner is nice and helpful, one time I was going to buy something similar to naan thinking it was savory, and he let me know it was sweet so I switched it for something different. Reasonable prices as well! Anyone complaining about the $10 credit card minimum probably isn’t aware that businesses need to pay a small fee for every credit card transaction so it’s totally fair for a small business have that rule

My husband and I have regularly been shopping at Anapoorna and can't say enough about our go-to Indian store. It is always clean, organized, and well stocked. An Indian store with superb standards! I appreciate how helpful the owners have been with questions we've had about any product we wanted to know more about. Their recommendations have been spot on, and I appreciate the genuine care and consideration that is evident in the quality products on their shelves and the atmosphere of the store as you step in to get your grocery shopping done. Complete range of all Indian groceries you could wish for and then some. I had tried other stores too but this one is now my favorite and my go-to place for Indian groceries. The uncle who owns the store is very nice and so much fun to talk to. If the store is out of something, you can tell him about it and he will bring it for you the following week.

Sometimes, the products are well past their prime. I bought some shev and the oil had started going rancid. On top of it, the owner does not accept credit card for less than 10 buy. I can't say the owner is very polite either.
