The whole building has a retro feel, with restaurants and a supermarket inside. I haven’t seen a supermarket like this in a long time. It feels very special and like going back in time! Restaurant : Chinese dumplings Pizza Pho Sushi Cream papa Bakery Mexican food + nature food market

Cute local spot that had changed drastically over the years. This place has some really good variety in food and drink selection. Upstairs has a few comforting restaurants. I enjoyed the Puerto Rican food this time. They had some of the best sauces to compliment the food we ordered. The place was decorated very well and gave it a more authentic feeling. Loved the food. Had some of the best tostones (twice fried plantains) I've had in years, and I mean that! The appetizer menu this time was enough to satisfy us for a dinner for two.

There are several places to eat here and the food hasn't been disappointing. I was in the mood to try some Puerto Rican food, and La Perla delivered. I'll be back (terminator voice) to work my way through more menu items. They could improve on their drink selection, but I imagine that will happen in due time.

What a wonderful place. It’s a very well designed, large, open environment. Tons of food options for eat in, take out, as well as a full grocery store. There are a number of restaurants, including an amazing wine bar. The staff are friendly and the entire space, inside and outside is exceptionally clean.

First time ever coming here and we weren't disappointed. All the food and pastry's were Excellent. Staff was all well informed on all the products they were selling the store and bathrooms were both very clean. I would definitely shop here again.

Wonderful treasure in Castro Valley! One stop shop under one big roof - Grocery store which is a smaller version of Whole Foods Market, deli, sushi, oils and spices, Butcher, etc. We always go for Akemi sushi which is so fresh but expensive, worth it though. Haven't tried the other places yet. There is plenty of seating outside and so refreshing especially on a pleasant day!
