My go to Korean butcher shop & To Go lunch box stop This is a great place to pick up banchan & ready to cook meat. Prepared shabu shabu meat, bulgogi, galbi are higher quality than what market offers. Their banchan kimbop individual meals taste like home made.

I came in a couple weeks ago to check out specifically the pre packaged banchan available. They all looked amazing, but I personally chose the radish kimchi and cucumber kimchi. Both were amazingly fresh, light, and the perfect flavor I want from kimchi. I enjoyed the sourness & spice level a lot more than some brands I usually buy and would say it compares well to homemade. As for the meats, they all looked very high quality, but I didn't have any plans to cook a lot of meat soon. I bought frozen salmon, which looked, cooked, and tasted amazing, and marinated bulgogi. I froze the bulgogi as I wouldn't use it immediately and cooked it last night - I loved the seasoning!!! It didn't need anything extra from me except for some green onion garnish. I will inevitably come back for the tuna kimbap in particular. Oh my gosh it was so good and filling! The store is small, but organized well and clean. There are baskets to shop with. I only spoke to one lady while there but she was very personable and quick. She packaged my items thoughtfully as well. (My items only cost about $80 if I remember correctly).

We were greeted by a very pleasant woman. There were a variety of banchan to choose from as well as unique Korean snacks. We definitely went home with more than we intended to purchase. We were offered a sample of Ginger tea and jujube snack, and both were delicious. The side dishes tasted great and fresh.

I purchased a bag through Too Good To Go that was listed as a $21 value, but this is all I received. The corn looked like low-grade feed corn and wasn’t even properly cooked. As for the gimbap ham, I honestly don’t know what kind of low-quality product was used—it had such a strong unpleasant smell that I had to throw it away. This was extremely disappointing and did not match the stated value at all.

Got the lotus roots, namul, and the vegetable pancakes. The store carries a large variety of items. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the product line and recommended a number of items to us based on our preference. Came with a friend.

Reasonably priced and homemade lunch box with that homemade taste! I got this huge box with tons of sides for $13.99 which is on par with what I would get at a restaurant. They change their specials every day of the week but they often have other specials available (like beef rib soup) for pick up as well. They have loads of fresh made banchan, kimbap, and marinated meats looked good. There is no seating inside but it is a deli style place where you can pick up shelf stable items as well as fresh kimchi and banchan. Will definitely come back!

This is my second trip here this week. Just a small haul of bibimbap, kimchi and rolls. My family loves the kimchi here! The meat is fresh, the gejang (soy sauce marinated crab) is delicious, the galbi-jjim was almost as good as my mother-in-law’s, and the soups are terrific! The prices are reasonable and the food is terrific! I’m so happy to have had a friend recommend MeatBanchan!
