Chang Fa Food Market

Terribly rude staff who don’t speak English and cannot communicate with customers properly. I came to the store at 6:30 PM; according to Google Maps, the store is supposed to be open until 8 PM, but all the fresh fish had already been put away. When I asked about the fish swimming in the tank because I wanted to buy one, the seller told me to come back tomorrow. So I’m supposed to stay hungry until tomorrow because the people working here don’t want to make money for this business and are rude to customers? Have you guys ever even heard of American customer service?

Disappointed, because I was hungry and hope to buy fresh fish, but personal doesn’t speak English and can’t explain nothing, they can only scream on you. All fish was hidden before closing store.

Extremely awful cash register experience, they actually yelled at me since I didn't have a shopping bag. I didn't INTEND to get groceries. So charge me for another bag!!! Don't YELL AT ME about it. Ridiculous. Just put up a bag fee. And especially if you charged me, if I ask for ANOTHER BAG, then just charge me for two. What is the point of cramming most things into one bag, then holding the other items?! Ridiculous.

Non-Asian people have to understand that it’s a different culture in here. If the staff seems rude, it’s because they’re trying to work fast and not be distracted. That’s why the long lines move fast. With that said, the food here is fresh right off the trucks and unpacked straight onto the shelves. Fish, meat, vegetables are abundant and fresh. The workers are spicy sometimes but don’t take it personally. Sometimes they seem like they’re yelling at each other but it’s all in jest. Everyone is very nice especially if you’re a regular. Asian snacks are a must!!! Mom and I are loyal to this store. If you need something specific, you should take the time to look in each aisle. The workers probably won’t know what you’re asking for unless you have a picture as reference. There is a world of goods in here, explore it!

Will give 0 start if possible. The employees at MEAT department is ridiculous. I was buying two kinds of MEAT, one employee gave me one and told me the another kind are "THERE", which are two steps away, then total ignored me. I didn't understand what he mean by "THERE", then I understood a moment later , he mean I should ask the another employee for the other kind of meat because that's NOT his section. Are you serious? You don't even help customer to get the meat because it is two steps away? Should I ask 10 times if I am buying 10 kinds of meats? Owner of the business , you should let the employees at MEAT department know - they need to do their job.
