Straight up, in both a perfect world and a backwards one, a man should be allowed to believe in the world the way he sees it. If I catch anyone negatively messing with this business (and I frequent this business quite a bit), disrupting it's operation, harassing the owner or engaging in behavior that would ultimately be punishable by law, will not need to wait for the law in a cold cell. This place serves a lot of little needs in just a day and he is invaluable to his community. Shop there. Rkc-

I just moved here from WA and saw all the good reviews, I've also been waiting here for the past 40 minutes waiting for them to open but there's no sign of them opening anytime soon. The sign on the door says closed on September 21st but it's now September 22nd and well past opening time. I called and no one answered.

Has so much of everything I need and want at shattuck market. From fruit to cookies to ice cream and all the staples. Great Customer Service! I recommend doing light shopping here.

There's no price labels on anything very unprofessional.

It was good not bad clean friendly clientele

Friendly owner and a great assortment of items for people in the area, with both national and local brands represented. Nice selection of coffees, soft drinks, and snacks (although I wish they had more sugar-free drinks in stock). A regular here!

The gentleman who owns and works this quaint market is a genuinely good person. I used to walk down to street and stop in here for various things while walking my dog each afternoon and I’d end up staying longer than I planned to talk about cal football or the weather or whatever was going on at that time. Its one of the things I miss about living on Channing. Funny enough I never got his name and I don’t think he ever asked mine, but if you’re in the neighborhood, pop in and let him know I said, hi!
