Asian Market

My mother is Vietnamese and my father is black! I look more black than anything! On Saturday I went in to grab some things I needed for my dish I was preparing at home! I walked in first the lady at the counter said hi! Right after my husband and kids ( that are black) walked in and coincidentally 2 black ladies walked right behind them! I heard the lady tell the Asian man "oh, all these black people we don't accept EBT and they both began to laugh! She said it in Vietnamese so no one who doesn't speak the language would understand it, but I'm very fluent in it because of my mother! I paid for my stuff and me and my family left! I normally don't do reviews, but I hope they can actually read this one! It's not nice to discriminate on who you think is coming to spend EBT, then treating everyone who patronize you business with the same level of respect! Black people, white people, Lationos, and Asian all spend money and all races receive EBT, so you should just not single out one race over another! I hope if you read this, you take the time to educate yourself and realize that black people actually spend more money with you than anyone else! That's why there's beauty hair stores in every urban neighborhood as well as corner stores! So, moving forward you should either wait until your customers leave to make such deragatory statements or just not make them at all! Because the next time someone of another race may be fluent in your language and understand everything you are saying about them, like I understood it!

Love this Asian market, calm, smaller/perfect size, has what I need and the staff are always kind. They usually have a good selection of peppers, mushroom, jujubes, sauces, seasonal fruits/veggies and duck eggs when available. Lots of dried mushrooms, sea weed/kelp, different types of rice and so much more, I usually find something new to get every time.

It has little bit of everything you need from spices to drinks, candies, missing one spice that I needed. Cashier doesn’t speak English so it was very hard to tell her what I wanted, I used google pic to get help.

Good variety, good prices, well organized, and very clean. One of my favorite grocery stores.

Love this tiny little Chinese grocery store. Small but has everything I need (except for milk). I've never seen expired items on the shelf and the staff are extremely nice and helpful. Lots of authentic cooking sauces that don't exist elsewhere. I'm also a big fan of sticky foods, so I love their frozen corn on the cob, of which the texture is very different from the ones from the regular grocery stores. You may find other authentic Chinese foods and snacks too.

Nice Asian market. Recommended by a coworker. We came in to purchase rice noodles and curry paste. We found both at great prices and even left with pad Thai sauce and Jamaican style curry! They weren’t super friendly. They didn’t ask if we needed any help finding anything. They just did there own thing while we looked around which I don’t mind. I didn’t have to ask for help because the store was laid out in a very logical way to find what we needed. It’s a small store but is packed with great buys. They even sell woks! This will probably be our go-to Asian Market.

Literally everything you need even meat and produce glad I didnt have to travel across town i suggest you bring cash the cashier seemed to have rather I paid in cash but they do have square to pay with a card
