Vallarta Supermarkets

I stopped in to buy fresh produce, and the selection is great. Produce is fresh and at a good price. The store is very well maintained, and the workers are friendly. The parking lot is easy to get into, and there are plenty of spaces .

We were in the area and decided to pick up some "horchata" (Mexican rice-based w/cinnamon drink...very traditional) and came home with a lot more! Can help it!... all the fresh produce and warm baked goods are hard to resist...

I like coming to this store, with it's upbeat Mexican music and friendly workers. Hot food section is a plus. Not too fond of their meat section, Although, through the years since my review on another site, I’ve noticed an improvement. Still I do not buy my meats here, just my personal preference. This is the other place I buy my jalapeno bread. They do have a well stocked bakery. I do perceive that some employees have preferential treatment for certain customer groups. On busy days parking can be an issue as they share the lot with other businesses. I’ve had the misfortune of having to use their facilities one time. Never again.

Nice butcher, good selection of meat. The milanesa is fresh and delicious. The staff is kind and helpful.

Wonderful experience today. Very clean store and customer service was beyond great. My New shopping store. The community definitely needed this.

I came on Monday March 3rd, 2025 at 8:45 pm. The cashier was very rude she didn’t even greet me and when I asked her I wanted bags she just tossed them on top of my groceries and didn’t even bag up the groceries. She was a heavy set lady. She has no type of customer service skills and I think Vallarta Supermarket really needs to hire a couple more people to bag up the groceries like they do at every other supermarket. They just lost my business as I won’t be returning and I will take my business to Gonzales Northgate Market.

The most overpriced d’void of meat tamales I’ve ever had in my life!! They may as well call the corn meal rolls. No meat! My dad buys them every week and wastes over $40!! 🤬🤬
