H Mart

We love Hmart! Having grown up in San Francisco with access to all things Asian, it’s so nice to have a market like Hmart to go to! It has most everything we need to make Asian dishes. We love the freshness of the produce as well as the sashimi grade fish available and the variety of sauces and noodle goods is perfect!

After years of shopping here, a review is needed. The variety is wonderful for many items, although it rotates at times. Something might be there on one visit, but not on the next. However this is understandable since there are many factors that affect imports from overseas, especially recently. While some Asian stores may be focused on a few things, like a huge noodle selection, or more housewares, HMart seems to focus on having something from a wide variety of items. While I wish we could have one of the big new stores, like in Orlando, I am quite grateful there is an HMart presence in Colorado.

I didn't even know we had such a gem in the Denver area. Went on a little escape to Houston for 3 days and was told about this store. We visited there and were blown away. Once we came back to Denver, we were just curious to see if we had something similar here and lo and behold, we have the same exact store. So we went there to see if it was similar. Whole the Houston one was livelier with extra shops and restaurants within the establishment, this one doesn't falter too far. They have similar section of groceries and fresh produce. Until now we were only familiar with Pacific Ocean Marketplace. Now, we have this other option. If I were to compare the 2, I'd say sauces, oil, seafood and rice wise, Pacific Ocean has a wider variety. But when it comes to vegetables and frozen section, this place is ahead. They also serve ready made food,ade fresh there. If you're feeling adventurous, try their rice cakes wrapped in seaweed leaves. They are delicious.

Love the bakery! Lots of delicious fresh options and the staff is always very helpful. The curry croquettes are my favorite. Sensory info: The music wasn't super loud but definitely noticeable. The smell from the fish area extends through most of the store, at least to my sensitive nose.

Love the variety of Asian goodies. Was surprised to see so many exotic fruits and meats that you don’t get in regular grocery stores. They even stock quail eggs. Always a great shopping experience!

May 2025 Early Saturday morning visit and already a good sizeable number of shoppers. Checkout (before) 11am took 15 minutes, and that was on the express checkout. Variety of Korean products, 👍. Couldn't find a Philippine product specified needed for a Filipino recipe I was going to cook. Otherwise, still a great option for ready made side dishes and meat products/variety -cuts. -------------- First visit weekday afternoon. No problem with parking and number of shoppers so checkout was easy. Comparing to the other Asian supermarket I go to, the variety of fresh produce and fruits is definitely MORE. There is also a special section for prepared/ready to eat sides. Since this is my first visit, there is so much more to see and check. I did notice as I was leaving that there were food dine-in outlets. Will have to go back.

This place is huge, I went looking for new veggies, fruits and meats and wasn't disappointed. I have celiac and was hoping to find more gluten free noodles, snacks and dry goids but a lot that would be naturally gluten free still said wheat on the back. I know gluten free movement isn't super big in some countries so I'm not super suprised, but I am glad it at least says wheat in thick black letters on the back in English. If you are food hunting I'd suggest giving yourself lots of time, I was driving through so couldn't only look for a hour. I imagine there are lots of gluten free things I missed.
