I always love coming here and buying unique stuff that I can cook with and im a trucker so I also stock up on quick fix items like Ramen noodles but best of all they are amazing with their prices can't beat it anywhere else
GW Aurora is my favorite supermarket for finding products from Indonesia. Their selection is very complete ranging from spices, snacks, drinks, to typical Indonesian kitchen essentials. I truly feel happy and satisfied every time I shop here. I shop here almost every week because the product quality is great and the prices are reasonable. If possible, I really hope GW Aurora can add even more Indonesian products so the choices become even more diverse. Thank you, GW Aurora, for providing a shopping place that always makes me feel close to home🥰
This market is amazing!!! It is gigantic - it has an entire section devoted to rice and noodles as well as a section with durable goods like clay pots, china, cooking utensils etc. The variety of produce and fish, poultry, meat etc is amazing. I can literally get everything g I need to make any Asian dishes I want, from Chinese to Korean, Japanese, Thai etc. I grew up in SF and I’m so happy to have access to hard to find Asian food and ingredients!
Holy Cow! This place puts the SUPER back into the word Supermarket. I was mostly lost as a goose in this huge warehouse of things you’ll never see in Walmart! Thankfully the grandmother I was shopping with knew exactly what we needed and precisely where to find it. (I was successful… on my own… to add sesame oil to our oversized shopping cart.) I usually get fresh fish the hard way… with a rod and reel… and that’s not guaranteed. Here the seafood is watching your mouth water as you make a selection. Now that’s fresh!
Full of options for various cultures of foods. I am very glad we could find good produce and vegan meat alternatives with understandable ingredients. We used to come when it was called Pacific Ocean and not much has changed. There are smaller restaurants for Boba and different meals. The lines generally tend to be longer and it can be a bit challenging to find who works here, so expect to spend some time until you familiarize yourself with the store.
I spotted this Asian supermarket from the bus one day and stopped to check it out. What a find if you are looking for hard to find Asian products. Vacation to many different countries including chinese, indian, Korean ( North and South). I went with a friend who is a tie chef and he saw so many items that he said was hard to find. The store was very large, well lit, very clean and very pleasant to walk around, if you are new to Asian food this is a great place to go by ingredients from a recipe you have found. I suspect that if you know Asian food well, this store will be very welcoming! I read they are a chain across the USA
I bought goguma ppang, it’s Daedoo sweet potato bread from GW in Denver (Alameda st) the price on the shelf is $10 and then on the cashier, it’s discounted so I only paid $6 at the end. I bought exactly the same brand, it cost $17.89 at GW in Mississippi, so wth? Do they not have the same prices across all stores in Colorado? Fyi, Sulbing cafe has exactly the same thing, it cost $6-$7 for 3 if I’m not mistaken. Meanwhile if it costs $17.89 a bag (6 pcs), might as well just go to Sulbing and get them from there because it’s cheaper and served warm. 9/7 I went to HMart in Aurora and found exactly the same brand. I added a picture from today. I kinda regretted that I spent extra $6 for exactly the same thing 😭
