Daiso - Japanese Household Goods

Better alternative to 99¢ stores. Things are nicer but some cost slightly more. Many items not available elsewhere, for example glow in the dark stickers that's great for light switches, and disposable emergency "paper toilets" to keep in car. I used to go whenever I'm downhill. Shop is neat clean and tidy, on the whole a better shopping experience. Card only self checkout available on top of the normal cashier. Firmly Recommended.

The staff is so friendly and helpful! I'm so glad to have a Daiso in Apple Valley. It sucks the tariffs made the prices go up, but I still love this store. They have cute little items I can't get anywhere else and I don't even have to go down the hill anymore. 🙏🏻

It's so cute!!! I am so glad we finally have one up here lol. I definitely spent way too much but look how cute everything is! The only issue was they ran oof bags but it's totally understandable lol the worker was also very kind and we had a pretty nice conversation about little Tokyo and he recommended a few places. I unfortunately forgot ask his name but he was awesome! (I went on 3-3-25 around 5pm)

My 7 year old had to use the restroom while we were looking at the toy section. They had a bathroom in the corner that was labeled 'all gender' but the employee with bright red hair wouldn't unlock it and let my child use the restroom. She told us to go down to Winco and use their restroom because the Daiso bathroom was for employees only. I decided that I would just go spend money at another store.

This place is a rip off. They don't do an actual conversation between the two currencies at all. I bought a lid for a pot that was labeled 200y, which converts to $1.28. they charged $4.35. this place is just another shady scam driven HD business. They are knowingly lying to their customers with their fraudulent "exchange sheet" they have printed out. This isn't an accident, it's all purposely done. Done buy from shady retailers. It's a Japanese dollar store shined up to appeal to the bougie crowd that will buy it just because they think its authentic. "A fool and his money will soon part".

Great quality for the price, I like this place way more than Dollar tree, and I love the specialty items they sell 😀 obviously the yen to dollar is different but I mean it’s imported from Japan so of course there’s gonna be a markup (and it’s not as big of a markup as buying it online so I’m okay with it) the bento box accessories are my kids favorite

The staff at this store are fantastic! Friendly, helpful. What a great experience! I look forward making it my go to store.
