No sense of urgency. Takes them forever to do anything. I asked 3 different nurses and the doctor for pain medicine and it took them over 3 hours to get me better pain meds. They say its busy at the MRI Scans but when I went down there the halls and waiting rooms were completely empty. I had been back to my room after the scan for over an hour until I pressed the call button for my nurse. She didnt even know I was back from the scan. This place does not have your best interest. One of the doctors, Dr. Aggarwal, was extremely rude to me the first time she came in to question why I was here. I started to answer her questions when she just turns around and starts talking to her nurse, completely ignoring me while I still continues to answer her questions. This place is horrendous.

Alex, Alex the ultrasound specialist. Alex you deserve the absolute best. You are truly a love and such a wonderful person to have met and i hope every pregnant momma gets to have an experience in meeting you and getting to be treated by you. For hospitality 10/10. Caring 10/10. Treatment 10/10. Her understanding of being a mom, loss of pregnancy and risks of pregnancy but still being able to be herself in all that she does and what she accomplishes… she is truly a blessing and Kaiser is EXTREMELY lucky to have her.

This was the first time I stayed overnight in a hospital, and the excellence of this experience will have spoiled me for any other hospital (and I hope there will be no more). The room was so spacious, the nursing staff couldn't have been lovelier, more professional or helpful than they were. I received excellent care, and topping the experience off was the that with AMCAH, which allowed me to go home 3 or 4 days earlier while getting expert medical care. I do believe KPWH is one of the best facilities in the San Fernando Valley (and probably even more).

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills. I drove over an hour to the X-ray/ultrasound center after being explicitly told over the phone that they accept STAT ultrasound walk-ins, only to arrive and be told they do not. This misinformation cost me time, gas, and unnecessary stress. The lack of coordination and basic competence from whoever is handling phone inquiries is unacceptable, especially in a healthcare setting where urgency matters. Because of this experience, I am canceling my insurance and moving to another provider that is not affiliated with Kaiser. Patients deserve accurate information and respect for their time, neither was provided here.

I was recently hospitalized following an ALIF surgery for 5 days on 4 West and my care team couldn't have been more caring and kind. I felt valued, safe and well cared for. And as an extra bonus the hospital food was pretty good. I am a vegetarian and was served a Teriyaki vegetable stir fry with tofu and brown rice for dinner. Part of my recovery was making the effort to walk and increase my walking each day. I was assisted by nurses, student nurses and volunteers despite how busy hospital care teams can get. I'm so glad I had my surgery at Kaiser Woodland Hills!!

Dr. Jacob Landis Wilson, OB/GYN, was extremely unprofessional and appeared inexperienced during my visit. He did not seem to understand basic postoperative care. Throughout the appointment, he smirked at my accent, which was inappropriate and disrespectful. I had previously undergone surgery with another physician and scheduled this appointment solely to have my incision checked. There was liquid surgical adhesive over the stitches. Dr. Wilson attempted to remove the adhesive with forceps in a careless and improper manner. This is not the correct technique and can cause unnecessary pain and potential harm. He managed to pull part of it off, but due to the severity of the pain, I asked him to stop. After the appointment, I consulted my original surgeon, who clearly stated that the adhesive should never be removed with forceps and must be handled using an appropriate removal method one that Dr. Wilson did not seem to know. Additionally, he appeared surprised when he saw the surgical adhesive and did not seem to recognize what it was. Overall, this experience was concerning and disappointing. I expected a basic standard of medical knowledge, postoperative care, and professionalism, which was not demonstrated during my visit.

Kaiser was a good medical facility. Now nurses are on strike 4 hour or more wait times at pharmacy's and only 2 pharmacy's open , You call the pharmacy and says call back during business hours 8- 5 and hangs up, i called at 9am 11am and 130pm same hang ups. They raised my 20.00 medicine to 1140.00 deductible with no notice and i called and no one knew why. Labs wait time to long now they apparently also striking. Shame on you Union, Nurses and Kaiser for medical care that is now very crappy, Your making your medical members suffer for your wage fight not ours. This should be illeagal!! Weather you are rightfully due additional money that is not the issue, Patients should be first and not forced to suffer from your fight. Very Very Unprofessional, and a lot of us are very upset not that you care !!!
