Gabby, the assistant, is friendly and understanding. I've loved Carrie Waters from the start, she just makes you feel heard. She is also very engaging and it helps you to remember what you wanted to discuss with her. Each time she walks in, you can tell shes familiarized herself with your case, she treats you like an old friend.

Unfortunately my experience outside of my own provider, such as for my partner, has been extremely frustrating. His appointment with Dr. Hines, after not going to a doctor in over 10 years, was more like a consult. Dr. Hines did not examine a single physical thing about him other than what he could see just from being in the room with him. He mentioned joint pain, likely arthritis and the nurse was quick to point out that each physician at Wilmington Health can only manage pain for a certain number of patients, and that Dr Hines was at his limit. Ok, but is there any other way that Dr Hines might be able to be a doctor and help his patient? From what I have seen that answer is absolutely not. Since the visit, my partner has contacted the office at least three times for assistance to get signed onto the Wilmington Health Portal. No one has returned his calls. Most recently, a colonoscopy was scheduled and the office assured us the procedure was approved and covered financially by insurance. We thought that, until 2 days prior to the procedure when we found out that if you have ever had polyps, somehow your procedure is considered to be "diagnostic" and not "screening". I guess some things have changed since I was in nursing school and we learned that a colonoscopy is a screening for colon cancer. I guess it could be diagnostic, but since his last procedure was 10 years ago and he is now being screened for colon cancer by way of a colonoscopy, it seems that it should be coded as screening and therefore paid as a preventive measure for colon cancer. So, I feel extremely lucky that I ended up with the provider I have. And I would highly recommend her, 100%. However, based on other dealings with Wilmington Health I feel like my provider is just fabulous despite the company she works for. Find a provider that you don't mind going to see, someone who talks with you, is an advocate for you and your health, who returns phone calls and messages, and generally just addresses your needs as a person. The rude doctors and nurses that list for you things that they cannot or will not do, do not deserve your time, or your money. Well Dr Hines was recommended to us, he is not anyone I would recommend to take care of a loved one.

Jill is the best primary that we have ever had. She cares about her patients and does what she can to make them feel better. I always recommend her when someone is looking for a doctor. To add to that, when I go to my specialist and they ask me who is my primary, and I say, Jill, they say, oh yeah, Jill is good. You can't get better than that.

I moved here 2 years ago & couldn’t be more pleased! This week I was able to get a yearly physical, blood work, mammogram & a dermatology visit all in the same building! Everyone was kind & professional! Makes my senior years so much easier not having to drive all over town! I recommend to all of my friends!

The whole experience was excellent. The process was very smooth and efficient. Everyone I came in contact with was great, the receptionist, nurses, nurse anesthetist. Special thanks to Dr. Matrachisia.

Dr Carrie Waters is the best Doctor I have ever had. She is so smart and kind and is really on it and responds so quickly, especially through the app. No one else has been as quick as she is. She must work around the clock to be so unbelievably efficient with how many patients she has. I just love her!
