Very rude unprofessional receptionist May! Dr. Chen needs to get a receptionist that he had before or get rid of May and hire someone who is professional. Dr. Chen is a great doctor this star is for May his receptionist! She refused to set me up an appointment because I was not able to make my last one due to an emergency. Although I understand appointments are made and doctor may lose hours but if someone doesn't make it because they had an emergency that should be an exception, unless that's a problematic excuse with a patient but in this case not me! I have been going to Dr. Chen for some time & this has been the only appointment because of an EMERGENCY I had I couldn't make it! May refused to reschedule me because I wanted to talk to Dr Chen about being charged a fee for missing due to an emergency. Unfortunately, Dr. Chen did call me and I missed his call and May (nasty lady) would make excuses for me not to be able to get in contact with him again and lastly because I called her out on her unprofessional manners. She told me to find another place if I was not happy with Dr. Chen. That goes to show you how ignorant & unprofessional this lady May is when she knew the complaint had to do with her not DR. CHEN. So why would I look for another office if the complaint was not for Dr. Chen.

The staff was very friendly and efficient. Dr. Chen was extremely polite with my 96 year old father who has dementia. He explained our options with detail and performed minor surgery so efficiently that my father had absolutely no discomfort. My father said it was the most pleasant experience he had ever had in a doctor's office. I also was very pleased with Dr. Chen and his staff. I highly recommend Dr. Tommy H. Chen!

I thought I would never take the time to leave a comment here but I believe it's important. I've seen Tommy for over 9 years now and never had any issues. I would make the adjustments on my primary physician so that I was able to see this doctor. recently there has been a change within the staff.the new person will raise her voice, doesn't let you talk, and at the end basically told me to find another doctor because (I will admit)(1st time) I missed my appointment. I have requested the doctor reach out to me because he has always been helpful and good to me and I feel he deserves honesty. Thankyou

I called to try to make an appointment for my little sister bc my mom couldn’t because she only speaks Spanish and the receptionist was asking me for her insurance I’ve told her what she had she said she doesn’t accept it I said well I’m not 100% If that’s her insurance but we are willing to pay out of pocket and she said "well figure it out! bc there’s no point of making you the appointment! If we don’t accept your Insurance we never did accept that insurance" practically yelling! She’s so rude! I’ve tried to explain we will pay out of pocket and she doesn’t even let you speak. So I hung up.

Unfortunately u can call at anytime or day and they will never pick up the phone. Rather at Pasadena or Whit office. No one ever answers the phone. I’ve been trying for months! How do u run a business in this manner? Can someone please help me understand!

If i could give no stars.dr chen i would. very rude and uncaring..i will never go to his office again..clearly he isn't interested in diagnosis just was very combative.. I do have a skin condition that he was not willing to see.

A little more expensive than most but, I don't go there often. And, when there, it has always been a pleasant experience.
