Every dr, nurse or staff member we have dealt with has been so kind to me and my daughter. I love how they take the time to answer her questions too. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

I took my not yet 2 year old in because they could see her earlier than anywhere else. She had a strange rash that wasn’t going away for months…she did get a bug in the middle of it, but not right away. I drove all the way from Canonsburg to Wexford so they could see her. Staff was friendly and the girl who took her back and ACTUALLY looked at her was also very kind. She is a student and she wasn’t sure what it was either when she looked at it. She had me leave my daughter’s clothes off for Dr. Kress to come in and look. He walked past us and sat down and proceeded without once looking at this rash to tell me what it was and that it was because she had gotten sick. He then prescribed her a cream. He could very well have been right about what it was, but it didn’t look like that in any of the pictures I looked up. Plus, he couldn’t even be bothered to look at my baby for two seconds before diagnosing and prescribing something. He made me feel silly for bringing her in instead of trying to understand my concern. To top it all off they billed me—Dr. Kress do you think I should pay a bill for driving an hour to get to you and you not even look at my daughter’s rash? Because I don’t. I will be in contact with the insurance company, your office and the BBB. I will never be back.

I brought my 2-year-old daughter in for a dermatology appointment due to ongoing skin issues she’s had since birth. I expected a thorough exam—at the very least, that the doctor would look at her skin, take vitals, and assess her in a diaper if needed. Instead, the doctor was in the room for barely two minutes, never examined her skin, and simply recommended several steroid creams we had already tried through her PCP. No vitals were taken, no skin assessment was done, and we left with a prescription and more questions than answers. To then receive a $200 bill for a visit where no meaningful care or evaluation was provided is incredibly disappointing. As a healthcare professional myself, I found the lack of thoroughness and care unacceptable. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this practice based on our experience.

My son's skin was worsening and his allergist referred us to dermatology. Our appt was for 4pm. They called me around 1pm asking if we could do 1:45 instead and we're nearby so we agreed. It was the most rushed appointment I've ever been to. Maybe leaving it at 4pm would have been less rushed? CVS said my prescription was ready for pickup before we even saw the doctor. She barely looked at my son's skin. The rash was on his entire body but she saw his face and assumed that was it. Glad he started rolling up his sleeves bc she was on the way out otherwise. He's 4 and was nervous for this appointment. Thinking back on it, I don't even think she talked to him. She only spoke to me. And very briedly at that. I didn't get to discuss his ongoing skin issues. Only chatted about the immediate issue at hand. I'll be going elsewhere for more regular followup. She did give me peace of mind about this viral skin reaction but otherwise I didn't find it was a worthwhile visit.

Been trying to schedule an appointment for 2 months after the pediatrician referral. No one has responded to any of the 4 calls or Voicemails until now. Very Bad. Hope UPMC takes serious steps

From the moment I walked in I felt the staff was amazingly helpful and kind. I went with my very hesitant toddler today, and they held doors for me, made sure I was comfortable, and overall made it a successful relatively tear-less appointment. The Doctor was very knowledgeable and quick to answer my questions, I felt very heard and eased any concerns I had. Even as we left, the receptionist was very sweet and interacted with my toddler who was chatting her up even though he was scared to walk in. Ultimately he was nervous to start and very confident to leave. A successful visit and a raving review from us.

As I was there for an appointment for my son and we got through the check in process- I asked if I could schedule a future appointment for my daughter while I was there-if not it would fine- the receptionist was rude, condensending, and embarrassing. I was embarrassed and walked away thinking I should apologize for even asking. Bad experience- it appears the office workers have little value to patient care or concern. The Doctor is great - but after several appointments with marginal office staff experience- Im convinced the office staff is terrible. No thanks- will go elsewhere. Not a good feeling to be belittled when scheduling for services this office provides.
