Very helpful, friendly, and efficient! Anne, the person who helped me over the phone prepping was amazing! She was so friendly and answered all my questions. And when I met her the day of my procedure, she was even better in person. I've had a couple procedures there, and they really do a good job. Highly recommend them if your insurance allows it.

Nicolle NNP was awesome. It was obvious that she had reviewed my chart before we met, and she entered the room like a friend. She was very easy to talk to and was making sure she heard my concerns and questions. We came up with a plan together and I left the office with a clear care plan in my hand. Great service!

Nicolle A. Farvour, MSN, NP at GI Associates is who I met with and she was wonderful! She listened, let me talk and tell her how I was feeling. She never interrupted me and was gracious with her time. She genuinely cared. When you don’t feel well, you want someone like Nicolle taking care of you.🩷

I would avoid this place like the plague! Totally painful experience just to get a preventative screening done because I was deathly afraid of the history of colon cancer in my family. They will do everything they can to be ambiguous at addressing your original concerns and reason for visit, not to mention how billing and insurance will be submitted. I was under the expectation that I was getting a baseline preventative screening done (I'm age 36 and I have had a close relative pass away from Colon Cancer at age 40). Should be a lot easier to have a simple preventative screening done to give you peace of mind. So stupid!! Sure enough, the week I got my procedure done I find out United HealthCare expands their Colon Screening benefits to cover the first one free of charge regardless of age. My luck. Now they will do noting to change my billing codes to match the ORIGINAL REASON that I came in and I am out thousands of dollars when my insurance would have likely covered it anyway as I would be high risk. They do not care to help you in any way to make your experience positive with billing or insurance. My carrier would probably understand this and cover me 100% anyway if they worked with me on this because I really did not have that much incentive to get it done when I could have just waited until Jan 1, 2026. But not I am responsible for a $2,700 bill. :-/ During my procedure, everything was clean as a whistle but for some reason they decided to take a biopsy for no reason which further complicated things for me down the road. I just feel like my discussions with the doctor and the office people were very confusing and I feel like I was mis-advised on what was going on throughout the entire process. Not a good feeling in the slightest. Throughout the whole process from my primary care to the specialist I was advised to get a preventative screening 5 years prior to the earliest family diagnosis for High-Risk, which likely would have been 100% covered if coded correctly. Do not go here it will cause you nothing but headaches! I'd rather get my procedure done abroad next time!! Sad this is how our healthcare system operates.

Extremely sick, went to ER twice in 2 weeks, I was given fluids both time from being dehydrated from being so sick. After a few calls to my doctor, she ordered test. Over half of the test results were either elevated or high. Another month goes by, still sick, but not as bad, still calling the office, she was booked till March, she finally orders a colonoscopy, 6 weeks later. Still sick, but doing better, I'm prepped for my test. She thought I was there for my 5 year, routine check up. I had to tell her that I am there because of being sick, she then asked me if she had ordered any test. I told her yes, then she goes into my file and looks at it and asked if I was still having problems. She didn't even know why I was there! When test results came back, she said follow up in 4-6 weeks. I am now in to my 4th month of being sick and I still have no idea what is wrong. I had to make a " formal" complaint, before I even got a call back.

Edit: GI Associates reached out to see what they could do better. That means a lot in my book. They recognize the issues are are working to correct them. Moving this up to 4 stars. Origional review: This is a hard one. My doctor and his assistant are fabulous, seriously 11 out of 10. Scheduling, medical records, and their nursing line are nothing short of a disaster. GI Assoicates president Nalini M. Guda has to know how poor the support services are. Please do better.

Just had my 10 year colonoscopy. Had it done here last time too. Excellent customer experience. The entire crew, Mary, Melissa, Barb, Eric, Sue and Dr Santharam. Very efficient, thorough, professional, and friendly. From the time I made the appointment, during the checkin, prep, and the procedure, I felt like I was being taken care of. Dr Santharam went over the results, with several pictures right after the procedure. I don't come here often, but I would again, and would recommend to others.
