Laurel Leithauser, MD - The Skin Cancer and Dermatology Center

Everyone in this practice is very nice!! My doctor was very thorough looking over all of my moles, and explained in detail to me what ones were actually moles to be concerned with, and what other ones were, that I didn’t need to be worried about. She also gave me ideas on controlling pain for another auto immune disorder I have, and one that I should probably look into based on what she was seeing with my skin and medical history. This actually helped me, because it was something that I had been researching, and just reinforced my own thoughts on it. In my opinion they are not just concerned about what they see on your skin, they are concerned about your well being as a whole, and that is hard to find. Thank you so much!!! Holly

Every staff member I have encountered has been professional, positive, and I felt they were personally invested in my care. My needs were insignificant especially compared to what they must see, yet I felt like I was the most important person in the room. Each step of the process wasn't complete till I said I was all set. Each staff member attending me was very kind, compassionate, and still light hearted. It's an uplifting place to be when faced with a diagnosis requiring surgery.

This is the place to go. If you're looking to be treated with kindness this is the place. The staff is exactly that. They care. They support. They help. Stacey is one of the nurses there and I would like to specifically thank her for her personality, care, professionalism, and... She was the just the best! Angie, (the seamstress) is also at the top of my thank you list. Not just for the kindness but for making my body not look like a carving block. My scars are fading and soon will be barely noticeable. One must trust the process. And lastly, Mrs. Leithsuser. She is the star of the show to say the least. She, along with the rest of the staff is just so kind. She is quick, steady, personable, and makes the experience easy. Overall, having skin cancer is scary. But this staff makes you feel like it's just an everyday thing. It's ok and you're never alone. They are there to make you comfortable and happy. Id recommend this place to any and everyone. Staff was top notch from checking in to relaxing in the cozy waiting room in between procedures. Great snacks and beverages. The nurses helped make the surgery calm and comfortable. Dr Leithauser is simply amazing. The staff kept us informed each step. They far exceeded our exceptions!

Awesome experience with all the staff and doctors. I got my skin all checked out and they helped with all my questions. Provided solutions to challenges and I felt heard. My chemical peel has been great and effective. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic experience with Jen! She was thorough and exceeded expectations. We sat down and discussed a personalized skin care regimen for my specific skin needs and I’m already seeing tremendous improvement. My Vbeam treatment was basically painless and so well done. I had an appointment to converse about upcoming Mohs surgery. I sat in the waiting room for 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. Then left. Office called, apologized and set a new appointment with the doctor. Arrived and sat in waiting room again for 20 minutes past appointment time. Then left. Nice folks but they have no respect for my time. Had to find a new dermatologist.
