Schweiger Dermatology Group - Toms River

To start off the front desk staff were friendly and professional. Dealt will my insurance etc. I had an appt with Annaliese Gilbert at Toms River office on 05/15/2026. She, and her assistant were friendly, professional and had a sense of humor which I needed! Genetics are against me here. Brother stage 4 4x., so yes I was beyond nervous. They put me at ease and answered every question I asked, there were a lot. And to mask my fear, I tend to joke a bit, they went right along with me, but stayed on task. It is hard to say I look forward to seeing them again, but at 66 I will be seeing them twice a year from now on. 5 stars.

I made an online appointment for 11:20 am the next day and got multiple confirmations about my appointment and when I showed up no one was in the office and the doors were locked, I called their phone number multiple times and got a runaround saying that they were closed for weather and they canceled every appointment on Friday, so if they did that why would they allow online appointments for the next Monday knowing no one was there? They rely on Ai to take appointments (it’s more artificial than it is intelligent) I’m really tempted just to go elsewhere because of this.

This is my first time writing a review. I’m very displeased with the treatment my father and I have received during my appointment. The blonde front desk worker was so rude to my dad when we were both so friendly to her. She had the worst attitude and was just a nasty person. We’ve been here multiple times but the nurses haven’t helped me in anyway. They seem very careless about actually helping patients. Experience was so disappointing i’m shocked that such a disrespectful lady was hired to work at the front desk. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Scweiger Dermatology is terrible. I went here for a consult for a cosmetic procedure and was told that I booked a regular consult and could not be seen by nurse. No one explained this to me beforehand. The nurse who asked me why I was there was extremely rude. She told me that the nurse practitioner would not be able to see me was very busy and had no time for a thirty minute appointment to do a consult. She that explained that insurance wouldn't cover it, but I could put my fee for this time for next time which made no sense because it was being paid by insurance this time. She had me wait in the waiting room and then I overheard her complain to the receptionist about me, highly unprofessional. I'll never go here again. I only gave this place one star because the receptionist who check you are friendly. I waisted an hour of my time for nothing.

PA-C Rangwala is the BEST !! always willing to discuss options and completely explain what a procedure will entail right down to recovery time. He always gives his honest opinion and I would not go anywhere else for any type of cosmetic or dermatology needs.

I like this Dermatology group. The office staff is friendly and professional. If you call with a question some one gets back to you within 24 hours or less. Wait time from when you check in until to see the Doctor is quick. I see a Physician's Assistant by the name of Hasnain Rangwalla. He is extremely knowledgeable. He is soft spoken and he takes the time to explain things to you. He does not rush you. The practice offers a wide range of services for both adults and children.

My experience with Schweiger Dermatology Group has been excellent. Doctors, nurses and staff are very professional, warm and welcoming, thorough, focused and clearly knowledgeable. God bless them in this Holy season!
