The practice is run very well. Are usually on time and the staff are all so kind. The PA Stephanie has a great bedside manner and doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable at all. She has tried so hard to solve my skin issues. She treats me like she would treat a family member and allows me to make my own healthcare decisions once all the options are reviewed. I never feel rushed either. Highly recommend.

The entire staff was pleasant from time of entry until the time i walked out the door. Wait time was less then 10 minutes and I was early. 1st appointment so do not know names, but the entire staff was great, polite and friendly. Wish all Drs. Offices were modeled after this office! Biopsy was quick, painless and everything was checked thoroughly and treated.

In the Village 12 plus years now. Dr. Gurgen's office staff is professional with doctors who are extremely attentive to detail, especially if previous issues of Melanoma are a concern. They are the best in the Villages.....I've tried a few different groups. They are young and vivacious and not just here for the income but for your outcome in the sun!!

I am always treated with care at this office. They take time with me to make sure I am clear of any issues. Grew up in 70s when suntans were popular and warnings didn’t exist, so I have to be checked regularly. Had MOHS surgery in 2023 on forehead; would have developed into something very serious had this not been caught! So I am thankful to all of the staff!

I saw Stephany for long standing skin flare-ups where my skin would become red and bumpy from my chest up to my neck and face. I dealt with this for years, assuming it was hormonal and something I would eventually grow out of. At this point in my life, I decided it was finally time to see a dermatologist. During my visit, I explained that I had tried countless skincare combinations over the years and noticed a consistent pattern: lotions and most face washes left my skin red. I thought I was taking too hot of showers, but then realized my skin was still red when I started taking cool ones. I’m very grateful that Stephany listened carefully and even suggested that allergies might be a contributing factor. While we decided to try a topical antibiotic and Vanicream first, my skin had a severe flare-up and burning sensation shortly after starting the treatment, so I stopped using it immediately. Instead of seeing an allergist right away, I decided to simplify things and test the allergy theory myself. I switched to a general wash with only three ingredients and the results have been incredible. For the past month and a half, my skin has been consistently clear, calm, and softer than it has ever been. I truly appreciate Stephany’s attentiveness and her willingness to think beyond standard treatments. Her insight helped point me in the right direction, and it ultimately changed my skin for the better.

Highly recommended. The staff seek to understand your concerns and does an excellent job at taking care of them. Both my wife and I consider ourselves fortunate to have such professionals to take care of us.

My experiences with Dr Gurgen and his staff over the past 15 years or so has been 100% positive. Whether I am seen in Leesburg or Lady Lake, by Dr Gurgen or Jeren Kowalewski, PA, I am comfortable and confident of the care given. We are so fortunate to have Dr Gurgen's practice in Lake County.
