Joel Roberts, PA-C He was kind and Was very thorough with the mole check. He removed a questionable mole on my husband's back and some skin tags on his face. It was very quick. He was very informative and explained everything that he was going to do before he did it.

As a mom, reassurance and trust in a provider means everything, and my experience with Joel Roberts at the Skin Cancer Institute exceeded my expectations. He was incredibly kind, gentle, and took the time to truly listen to my concerns without making me feel rushed or dismissed. He was very thorough in his exam and explained everything in a calm, reassuring way that immediately put me at ease. His bedside manner is warm and compassionate, and you can tell he genuinely cares about your overall well-being, not just the appointment itself, but your peace of mind too. I left feeling relieved, confident, and well cared for. It’s such a comfort knowing there are providers like Joel who treat you with patience, kindness, and genuine concern. I highly recommend him to anyone, especially fellow moms who value reassurance and attentive care.

This was the first time going to a dermatologist, and I’m so glad I picked this place. The staff is very nice, the office was very clean, and I didn’t have to wait long before being seen. I personally don’t like male doctors, they make me uncomfortable, but I didn’t have a choice because they only have male doctors. However I LOVE that a female assistant was present in the room the whole time which immediately put my mind at ease. And Dr. Roberts was very professional and kind. This will be my go-to place from now on, and I’ll recommend anyone to them!

Went in for a skin check, had to wait a few minutes past my appt start time but they thanked me for waiting so I appreciated they acknowledged it. I was able to bring my son in his stroller. The office itself was beautiful! Very clean. The doctor was very thorough in the skin check, called out a couple concerns I didn’t even think about. Very friendly and professional. They were very upfront about pricing with my insurance and came to me with an estimate to sign before proceeding after they checked my insurance coverage. Highly recommend.

This was my first visit. I needed a spot checked on my face. They were great with handling that and opened up other treatments to keep my skin looking young and healthy. They were super friendly and very forthcoming and informative. I’m really excited that I have found a new dermatologist that cares to help me be my best.
