Today I saw Kimberly Alvarez for the first time and she was great. I have been a patient here for about three years and have always had a good provider during all of my visits. The providers are very knowledgeable on skin issues and are proactive on catching cancerous moles early to prevent more severe complications. They are also very kind. Everyone from the scheduling/front desk to the nurses and providers are exceptional. The providers also do not seem to rush your visit like they are limited on time and need to be out of the door as soon as possible like most other providers. They take the time to listen to you and answer any questions making sure you are taken care of and understand your treatment plan. 5/5 stars. Worth my 40 minute drive to get there!
Extremely disappointing experience with Anita Ishaq Juarez, PA-C. She rushed through my appointment, barely took the time to listen to all my concern, and even told me "I have other patient to see" which made me feel completely dismissed, and as if my concerns didn’t matter. The lack of care and attention was unacceptable. To make matters worse, her office called to reschedule my son’s appointment that was booked over four months in advance. They claimed they had no available dates, yet kept asking me to suggest other times and other provider also — only to tell me those weren’t available and to postpone my son’s appointment. It was a total runaround and a complete waste of time and money. This level of disorganization and disregard for patients is unprofessional and frustrating. If you value your time and want a provider who actually listens, I would not recommend this clinic. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE
I recently started visiting this clinic, and I’m very pleased with the services provided so far. The staff is polite, Anita, the PA, has a wonderful attitude and provides effective treatment. I truly hope they continue maintaining this level of care and professionalism."
Love Skin Cancer Specialists, Anita, Adley and staff were amazing. My son told them he's nervous about needles, so they made sure that he was as comfortable as possible. Even giving him an ice pack to help numb the area some before they used numbing. Anita made sure to explain everything thoroughly so that we understood what was happening. The office and rooms were very clean. Highly recommend!!
Top to bottom one of the best most efficient and friendliest offices I have ever experienced. I am a 80 year old retired Health Care administrator and know a bit about quality, professional staffs. These guys are the best!
I booked an appointment for a skin checkup. The nurse asked me to show the areas of my body that I had concerns. My husband had the same week a full-body skin check at MD Anderson, and it was full body including his feet. Dr. Ishaq Juárez was very kind and professional, she checked my face, arms and back. She found a suspicious spot, so she performed a biopsy and personally called me three days later to explain that surgery was required, as the result was not benign. I had the surgery on August 21st with Dr. Fakhouri. Unfortunately, he did not explain anything to me. His assistant mentioned that the biopsy results would take 4–5 days and that stitches could be removed after the first week. We made an appointment, and I received written instructions on how to take care of the wound. The appointment for the follow up (two weeks after the surgery), was postponed to a further week. I asked to have an appointment before, as I wanted that someone could remove stitches and take a look to the wound if everything was ok. Yesterday I went to the appointment. The nurse said she was only going to remove the stitches. I asked for the results of the biopsy. she simply handed me a printed copy. No doctor or nurse has called me or explained the results, and I have not been told what steps to take next. I found the lab sent the results last week. I had called last week Thursday and Friday to ask for those results. Today is September 4th. I have left messages for the nurse/assistant, but no one has returned my calls. This lack of communication and follow-up after surgery is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this practice.
This clinic is absolutely gorgeous. Very clean, high end decor, comfortable and welcoming. The staff is super friendly and their checkin and new client processes are modern, which tells me that if they take the time to stay current even in those smaller details then they are definitely current on all their treatments. I saw Laura for a full body skin check. She was so incredibly thorough looking at every inch of my body and head. She was knowledgeable and professional. She addressed everything I had concerns about. I recommend Laura and this clinic to anyone looking for dermatology now!
