Complete Dermatology in Sugar Land

I’ve been going to Complete Dermatology for years. This visit was exceptionally smooth. I checked in quickly, was taken to my room within minutes, and Dr. Sonabend came in shortly after the nurse reviewed my history and current needs and I was taken care of immediately. The checkout process was quick and I made my next appointment. I highly recommend this group.

The doctors, their physician assistants and the nurses seem very knowledgeable and are cordial and compassionate. They do a thorough exam and tend to any problems they find swiftly. I strongly recommend you be very punctual with arriving on time for your appointment, because they run a very tight ship and will usually need to turn you away and reschedule if you arrive 15 or more minutes late, unless there are extenuating circumstances of you make arrangements in advance. They have a pretty good turnaround time in being seen, examined, treated and sent on your way, so it's usually a quick appointment, and I think having patients arrive on time allows for that type of reliably quick service. Most of the providers I have been seen by here have great bedside manner, except for one who moved to another location.

Dr. Sonabend is one the the best Dermatologists in the business bar none. I’ve been a patient for many years. I also have my wife and both elder parents see him. He has great staff that backs him up on all other aspects to the office which runs like a well oiled machine. Their Mohs Surgeon is also the best I’ve ever had, procedures done at office as well. Easy to get to off Hwy 59, in Sugarland, TX. Plenty of parking in garage, with easy drop off access at front of building as needed.

Best MD around!!! Others, you have to fill out extensive pre visit forms for 15-20 minutes. Their’s: "same insurance?" answer yes and you're done! Also I appreciate the minimal wait the times after you check in. Only one time I waited for 30 minutes and they apologized and said they had computer issues. They said next time just let them know when you’ve been waiting for more than 15 minutes. My appointment today was at 11:45 and I was back to my car at 12:05!

Even though I drive 1 hour to get here, it is totally worth it. The person I see for skin health care is phenomenal! The check-in people are smiling and friendly while they greet you. They have cold bottled water in a fridge. Plus coffee w/K cups. They called my name right on time. I needed a biopsy. It was done quickly and with gentleness. The check out lady was so nice. I have had different skin appointments before and each time I have been very pleased. I would recommend this doctors office. I’m updating this review now Nov 26, 2025: Had appointment for a MOHS surgery on shin on leg. From beginning to end it went very well. Dr Patel explained everything she was going to do ahead of time. She is very professional while having a great personality. I definitely recommend her. Her assistants Carly and Madeline were the sweetest and kindest ladies. They kept me calm throughout the procedure. I was totally amazed at how efficient and smoothly everything went. Dr Madkan did the biopsy. She was great also. A very nice person who is excellent at what she does. I really liked her also.

Dr. Vandana Madkin is the best. I'm really pleased with the results of my treatment and I don't settle. She has the perfect bedside manner. She made me feel relaxed and not rushed. Best of all she cared about me and my concerns. I would and will definitely recommend her to family, friends or anyone looking for the best in her field.

This is an office of the most caring people I have ever experienced. Doctor Patel was awesome and all the support couldn’t have been more caring. Made me feel comfortable all the time. Just AWESOME!
