Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery

I needed an unscheduled visit to check on my healing of stitches from an earlier visit. I was heading out of town for awhile and wanted to be seen before leaving. The staff made sure to fit me into their schedule, took great care of me and got prescriptions to my drug store. Wonderful care just before the holidays! Thank you!

I do NOT recommend the St Pete, FL Carillon office. I went in for a full mole removal on my chin (a very small raised mole) that I had been wanting removed for years. Dr Pena was talking and laughing with her assistant during the procedure which I felt uncomfortable about and was wishing they were a little more focused as they dug into my face. After 24 hours when I took the bandage off, I immediately saw she had missed half of the mole (you could still see it raised versus the other skin) and there were still hairs sticking out (one of my main concerns with the mole). I called and left a voicemail expressing my concern, received a call saying Dr Pena wanted me in the following week to check. I came in requesting a refund and was instead asked if I had maybe plucked the sutures? (The clear white sutures? Compared to my dark black hairs I typically pluck from the mole? No I’m pretty sure I didn’t pluck the sutures!) And was told there weren’t any hairs (I had plucked them when I first saw them not thinking about saving them for "proof") and she definitely had gotten all of the mole. Well I waited, and lo and behold, more hairs grew back. I called the office and spoke with someone about speaking to a manager regarding a refund and was told they were in a meeting and they’d call back. Never received a call back going on a week later. Went into the office on my day off to speak with someone regarding a refund for the now $260 I was out for a service I did not end up receiving and to show them the hairs (I had kept for over a week) and was told the office manager wasn’t in and they’d give me a call. So we will see if they call me back and if I ever get a refund but I will be ending my relationship with this office after this extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. Feeling completely invalidated regarding my experience and now left with a scar on my face along with my mole still being there too.

Always good experience except for my appointment yesterday. I had to cancel after waiting 45 minutes. Needed to get back to work. I will definitely reschedule.

This visit was great as usual !! The staff are friendly and warm and make you feel comfortable . Dr. Dane is always the best in his field . He does it all , saves you when you have any health problems and still has time to make you look good !! I would never go anywhere else !

Dr. Pena is very thorough and takes her time with me as a patient. The staff was all very lovely checking in to checking out!

When I 1st started with Jennifer B, I felt special and cared for. The last 2 visits I have felt like she was bothered and in a hurry to get to the next patient. Skin cancer is No Joke. Providers should show compassion also!!.

I met with Dr. Pena and staff for an annual skin check. Everyone was very knowledgeable, thorough and respectful. Dr. Pena explained the process and her observations clearly. Thank you.
