Edited To Add with 4/5 Stars: After a lengthy conversation with the physician/owner of this practice regarding employee behavior, we were both able to come to an understanding that no excuses could be made for refusal to return phone messages - and we both agreed that his staff should not treat his practice as an office that is so busy they can’t be bothered to answer the phone as well. I very much appreciated receiving a written apology on the behalf of his managing staff and accountability on the staff behalf to protect the physician’s practice by admitting that improvements needed to be made. One can certainly expect their practice to go dark if the staff doesn’t answer the phone or return messages and the follow through on written apology again, well stated. I hope that our experience truly impacted staff and that they become better stewards of the practice they serve for future patients. Original Review: 1/5 stars - The office staff here is extremely unprofessional and VERY rude. Took them two weeks to return phone calls on a referral for my child and by that time - I had already gone ahead and scheduled with a competitor with better reviews. Need anything urgent? DO NOT waste your time with Willamette Valley Dermatology! Some accountability with the staff would be nice - instead of apologizing for their refusal to return messages, they hung up on me instead! The hospital should take this practice off of their referral que!

I made this appointment about two months ago and waited so patiently for it. I randomly got a voicemail a month and a half ago saying they may need to reschedule my appointment but didn’t cancel it or follow up or confirm with me or even attempt to call me again during the month and half in between my appointment. I get the confirmation text the week before and the night before for my appointment. I drove 40 minutes out the way rescheduled my workday to get here I get CHECKED IN filled out extremely lengthy paperwork just to see everyone that got there after me get called back. The older lady working the front desk was extremely oblivious and failed to mention that my doctor was not here today even after checking me in and sending me a confirmation text the night before. What a huge waste of my time! At what point do businesses start compensating people when it’s their mistake and have wasted someone’s precious time! I could’ve made money this morning but instead wasted it sitting in an office and commuting to this appointment.

Thank you Dr Clark and Anna Peters PAC for listening and caring for my dermatology needs. Your knowledge and professionalism approach is refreshing and appreciated. My experience your Staff has been friendly, professional and positive.

My family has only had great experiences with Dr. Clark (Josh) He’s a really great balance of this is what you need to look out for but this is what’s important and that’s what you want a doctor. You want someone who will be like hey you’re fine. Don’t worry about it but pay attention to this. I didn’t feel stressed out. I didn’t feel overwhelmed. He offered me a couple of different options for my teenager. I said what I was comfortable with and he was like. Yep that sounds great. We will happily see him over and His stuff with all of our dermatological needs.

I have had a positive experience here with Dr. Clark and Anna Peters, PAC. They have treated me with compassion and authenticity and really looked into my case when it was perplexing. They have been great at getting me in on shorter notice as well. I highly recommend this practice!

Office people were nice, but they did not inform me I had any copays. Imagine my surprise when I get a bill of a WHOLE YEARS WORTH OF COPAYS 240$. As a full time nursing student with no job at the moment and barely making ends meet that was a huge blow and I will not be coming back. An edit to this, I have looked through my call logs from the last 5-6 months and do not have any missed calls or voicemails from billing or anyone at Willamette valley derm. You should really inform patients at check in they have copays! That's what every other medical office does. I paid 240$, but they did not even bill my secondary insurance for my last visit so I will have to reach out about that. Every time I come in they take copies of my insurance.

Dr Clark is super friendly and informative and non-judgmental. The assistant "Kim" with the bob cut sharp enough to cut my throat however, doesn’t need to work there. She doesn’t know how to talk to people especially people in a fragile state after receiving upsetting news. Learn how to be better human.
