Self-care Spa and Lounge

My boyfriend and I booked my mom a spa day at Self-Care Spa & Lounge as a surprise birthday gift a few weeks ago, and it was an amazing experience. My mom left her appointment feeling incredible and had so many great things to say—not only about Khuyen, but also about how beautifully and uniquely her room is set up. She said the environment was very relaxing, she felt comfortable the entire time, and she really appreciated Khuyen’s positive energy. She also received helpful and useful information about hair care and other self-care tips. We will definitely be returning to see Khuyen. The prices are very reasonable, the customer service is outstanding, and Khuyen is not only hilarious but also absolutely beautiful!!!

Truly the best experience with Khuyen at Self Care Spa & Lounge! She’s so funny and knowledgeable about scalp health. She taught my mom & me so much about how to take better care of our scalps and hair. The Korean Scalp Massage was amazing!!! All the products she uses smell so good and are all natural. From the moment my mom & i walked in, she was so welcoming and took such great care of us. We even bought a few products to take home. 10/10 would recommend!

Thought I had dandruff my whole life but turns out I was just over drying it with my products, hair routine and scrubbing my scalp raw with scalp scrub!!! I learned so much in this treatment, it’s super relaxing and she really knows what she’s talking about and helped me with advice on how to move forward with a new routine, if anyone is interested in trying a true authentic korean scalp treatment experience, book with her!!!!! She’s the first to ever offer this treatment in Spokane and the best you’ll find out here! Just a super genuine and sweet lady. Enjoyed the experience and it’s not like anything i’ve ever had. I booked a scalp treatment for my boyfriend as well and he loved it. We will definitely be back ❤️

I cannot recommend Khuyen enough. She is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. From the first few minutes, you can tell how much she truly loves what she does. She took the time to educate me and made sure I felt completely comfortable and cared for. The before and after results were amazing, and the experience itself felt so relaxing. Her zen room is such a special touch, and she is genuinely fun and uplifting to be around. You never feel embarrassed, only supported and appreciated. I loved the service more than I expected and cannot wait to tell everyone about her amazing business. Thank you, Khuyen.

Right when you walk in Khuyen makes you feel so welcome! She is so excited to see how she can and will heal your scalp and skin. You can tell she loves what she does. And she’s HILARIOUS! Im sure everyone has had those bad appointments where you can’t relate to the person doing your service at all. But, Khuyen is not like that at all. No matter who are you, she will make you laugh and enjoy yourself during your appointment. Not only is her personality fun but the treatment and scalp massage is amazing! Like other people have said the before and after pictures are insane and she really gives insight on how to care for your hair and scalp! 10/10 would recommend her to anyone interested in Scalp Treatment and Massage. WILL be coming back!

words cannot express how much I adore Khuyen! I stumbled upon Selfcare Spa & Lounge when looking to get some eyelash extensions. After my first service I knew I’d be coming back time and time again. Not only does she do an exceptional job with whichever service that you choose to book, she is also a wealth of knowledge and will happily teach you about the products she uses, their benefits, etc. She is a no BS type of person and I couldn’t appreciate that more. She deserves all the hype she gets, so if you needed a sign to book with Khuyen let this be it!!

I had the luxurious Korean head treatment with the hydrofacial and all I can say is WOW! What an amazing and relaxing experience! The scalp treatment felt great and was so relaxing! Then the facial was great and she uses great Korean skin care! Her spa is beautiful & well designed! Khuyen is so sweet! After the treatment you get to relax in the zen room and sip on your favorite beverage while your hair dries! I checked out her k beauty store and she has great, affordable products available! This treatment should probably be twice as much as she charges but she loves making self care treatments affordable which I love! Such a great experience overall and I can’t wait to book more appointments with her in the future!
