I don’t leave reviews but this was one of those experiences that I wish someone would’ve warned me to avoid. Not a great experience at all. I went in for a full skin check which they didn’t do… Dr Maughan was out of the room as fast as possible, my questions were an inconvenience. She only cared about removing a cyst on my head, probably because that was an easy insurance payout. It was supposed to be an easy cyst removal, which it went smoothly by Dr Powell, but I developed an infection post stitches removal. As soon as I came in for it be resolved, I felt Dr Powell and her team were quick to avoid any responsibility and my concerns were minimized. They told me it wasn’t infected, until I showed them pictures of the infection. They assured me infections are unheard of post the stitches removal. It all felt like the goal was to avoid any responsibility rather than really listen to what I was experiencing and resolve the issue. It took months to heal and I was charged for the wound care because it was outside their "10-day window." The only person who truly helped me was Elizabeth Hughs. The infection finally started to heal after she gave me better guidance. She was even concerned about the care I had received previously. The infection could’ve been taken care of better, with less damage if I would’ve been given the proper care from the beginning. I felt unheard and minimized when I was going through a panic because I had an infected hole in my head that wasn’t healing. What was supposed to be a simple cyst removal turned into months of healing, extra charges, and now a permanent bald spot instead of a small scar. I would not go back.

Very pleasant PA and assistant. Thorough. Knowledgeable. I felt very good about the sign- in staff, as well as those diagnosing, answering my concerns, and treating those concerns. A very positive experience.

Dr Maughan has been my Dermatologist for many years. She is VERY Thorough and keeps me cancer free. Everyone who works there are pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend this office for all your dermatology needs.

Dr Powell was very accommodating, as well as her assistant. Megan went to great lengths to get my insurance to cooperate. I'd definitely return. Great experience.

Front office staff is very friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. Wait time was minimal and the waiting area is clean and comfortable. Dr Maughn is always so friendly and listens attentively. Great experience overall.

Dr. Emily Powell performed a Mohs procedure today on my wife's face between her nose and mouth. My wife was extremely nervous and anxious about the procedure as it was the second time in the same spot 6 years apart. She had a horrible experience the first time around with another Dr in another state. Dr. Powell did a fantastic job, she was kind and professional with a great and pleasant bedside manner. This was greatly appreciated. She took her time to review how she was going to close up the area to minimize the visual of the scar. Thank to Dr. Powell and the staff for being so kind and professional. We greatly appreciate it.

I had a great experience here! I saw Elizabeth Hughes, she provided excellent care and took the time to walk me through several treatment options. She was thoughtful, thorough, and really listened to my concerns. Her medical assistant, Emma, was equally amazing super knowledgeable and so helpful in explaining my treatment regimen in a way that made everything clear and easy to follow. I felt very cared for by both of them. Highly recommend!
